I’ve watched these videos over and over and over again. Even moreso than the Kradam ones. Kris/Allison are really hilarious together.

These two are really funny together — Allison “talking to” Lady Gaga on the phone and her saying, “I suck at interviews” have to be two of my favorite moments. Kris is getting better on camera, and Allison has a natural gift for comedy.

No. I mean their day jobs singing karaoke hits for American Idol. I don’t think any networks are going to be offering them a late night comedy/interview show!

Also, the hairclip Allison was using to interview Kris — migrates to Kris’ head when he is interviewing her.

OMG. I love Allison so much. And Kris is really cute. They have such genuine smiles on their faces here. They clearly have a great relationship. They’re adorable and hysterical together. So cute.

HAHAHAaaaaa!!!!! Alli’s expression after Kris’ comment about his caller working with her! These are great. Something tells me that what we see of Alli in these few minutes is what her peers are treated to full time!

During the competition, I remembering reading that the stylists who were working with Allison saying that she was one of the funniest idols they had ever worked with, and they loved her. Now we see why. Hee!

It must be really weird for a contestant like Adam (or Taylor or DAUGHTRY back in the day) who has already moved on before the tour even starts. Particularly Adam, whose life and celebrity has done down a completely new highway since Idol ended and who now has to shift gears back to to Idol for the tour.

Adam doesn’t seem to mind. He looks like he’s happy hanging out with his friends…especially Kris and Allison.

Well I seriously doubt that is what they did these for or what they would want as their next goals. They’re just being silly together…not trying to impress any big wigs of late night tv…sheesh!

I don’t think anyone has exactly moved on. This tour is for the fans who’ve voted or supported them and I doubt that any of them have moved on from them/us.

I never understood the personality thing either–I suppose that her first interview with Ryan before singing Alone was a bit stilted (understandably), but after that it became clear that she was hilarious and quirky and adorable. Well, I suppose she’s laughing all the way to the recording studio. And the Kris/Allison and Kris/Adam interviews are adorable and hilarious as well–the only thing better would be an interview with all three of them together.

These interviews were fun. Not serious at all, but I always love seeing a sort of behind the scenes look at idols goofing off. I can definitely see why Allison considers Kris (and Adam) her two “big bros”.

I think when Simon said Allison had no personality, it was code for not being a sex kitten. It’s gross, but for Simon, so much with women contestants seems to come down to whether he thinks they’re hot. So he didn’t like Diana DeGarmo’s look or Carly’s or J-Hud’s or Ramiele’s, and I honestly think he would’ve liked Allison’s personality a lot better if she had looked like Vanessa Hudgens or Selena or some other nymphet.

I don’t mean to be offensive but I am entitled to my opinion like everyone else – I honestly think Allison is loud and annoying (still developing) and I hope she really has an adult family member to accompany her on the tour to perhaps keep her grounded – she seems like the type that can get out of hand easily – I agree totally with Simon, she has no personality. Trying to be comical to cover-up for no personality does not cut it….she goes from one extreme to the other – but she is still developing (I am assuming).

Allison gave Kris a great preview of what he is going to encounter at every meet & greet he does during the tour. He’s going to think his name is actually “OMG Kris Allen”, by the end of the tour.

I know these are just fun interviews but I am speaking of her (Allison) on the show, behind the scenes and other things I have noticed before now.

EveLambert – Not offended at all. You shared your opinion. In my opinion, you seem to be confusing your dislike of Allison’s personality with her supposed lack of one. Just my opinion. I agree she’s developing, which makes sense for a teenager.

I never cease to be amazed at how wrong Simon can be – Calling David Cook arrogant and smug, and that he would be lost without his guitar (like on “Billie Jean”?) ; saying Kris Allen was boring (can’t remember the exact quote) and that Allison had no personality. Yet he’s the judge who is the biggest star, who everyone tries to please. Weird.

I think Adam might be in the background but not doing the filming? You can kinda see the guy on the camera in the mirror and it doesn’t look like it’s Adam. And I didn’t even notice the hair clip on Kris at first! hehe

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that Allison and Kris have already seen many female (and probably male) fans give Kris that type of reaction.

Simon was a moron throughout most of this season, and saying Allison did not have a personality, was certainly part of that stupidity. She has a lot of personality, it’s a funny, goofy and very real, and cute, for her age.

And I have to give some sugar for Kris as well. He and Allison were playing off of each other really well, especially the phone bit and his bit about being accustomed to only hanging around winners.

Oh and I think it’s Adam at the camera as well. I’ve watched this way too often, and his laugh seems to be coming from the camera level, and the way Kris and Allison react sometimes to the camera person (like looking at them directly, like involving them in the joke) is different than how Kris/Adam and Matt/Anoop acted to their respective camera person(s).

I thought it was a lot of fun. Had me laughing, especially the telephone stuff.

Oh, and cut Allison a break. She just turned 17, she’s allowed to be a kid with a ton of personality.

Allison is clearly goofy–delightfully so in my opinion. But she also can be extremely mature–witness how, right after Kris was announced as the winner, she went to Adam and put her arms around him (not that he seemed upset, but I’m sure it’s nice to get a hug under those circumstances). Something about that gesture seemed very adult to me.

Some may find your “thoughts” offensive. Most will not. Rather than possessing a well a founded opinion, you may be regarded as opinionated. On the other hand, your comments may enlighten all that read them.

According to direct statements of her peers, mentors, support personnel and others who work with her to any degree, Alli is universally loved and held in very high esteem, not only because of her personality, but also because of her prodigious talent and work ethic.

In my opinion, Simon is a misogynistic egomaniac who desecrates excellence because of his own ineptitude. Idol is his vehicle to pillage and rape annual crops of new talent – the younger and femaler the better. The fact that Alli fought off, but not without wounds, Simon’s mindless, incessant, unwarranted, intentionally harmful attacks to win a high placement further attests to her strenght of character and personality. Simon’s opinion on Alli’s personality is less than worthless.

Rest assured Alli’s Mom will tour with her. I wager that her mom will tour with her for a few years. I wager that Alli will want her to. Certainly the child is continuing to develop physically, intellectually, musically (hooray), morally, spiritually, and emotionally as should any healthy 17 yo.

Comedy gold? I thought they, especially Allison, were annoying, and I luvs me some Kradison.

I think Allison is a hoot. I find her goofiness charming, especially since the other guys are pretty subdued and droll. It’s a good counterbalance.

I find Allison annoying here. She’s just trying too hard to show that personality she was accused of not having. The whole interview wld have been more fun if she had calmed down a bit. And she is like this in every single interview, way too playful all the time. In matt /anoop’s own too she was noisy. it’s not funny to me at all and certainly not adorable as everyone seems to think.

That was funny, it’s nice to watch them interacting like that, makes a change from the usual questions/answers interviews.
