I do think some people don’t get Kris. The only spotlight he cares to be in is the one he is in when he’s performing. This was the first time I have heard him call himself “Your 2009 American Idol” – thus far he has seemed uncomfortable with the mantle, IMO. He has said repeatedly that he does not care about the attention that is paid to Adam, because that kind of spotlight is just not “him” (Kris). On stage, I am sure he feels very differently about being the center of attention – when it’s about his work and not extraneous issues.

I have learned something about Kris that I think I can say with relative certainty: He does not like screaming. He has asked people not to do that on numerous occasions, even telling Allison “I can’t handle it”. He said it at his first tour concert too. I can’t say as I blame him after listening to some of the high pitched screaming at those concerts. I would have a blinding headache constantly if I were in his position.

I like these two guys as friends for so many reasons. They are very different people, yet they have found a common ground. So much so, that they finish each other’s sentences. That’s pretty cool.

I don’t think it’s the producers that MAKE it. probably more questions are about Adam than KRIS in all the fanmails, so producers just try to pick good ones on that proportion.

Whatever the proportion might be has got nothing to do with the producers of the show choosing questions to Kris that ask about Adam, and producers are not in fact obliged to follow whatever proportion of questions to each may be (I suspect actually that questions for Adam hugely outnumbered those for Kris).

I like both Kris and Adam, but not enough to call myself a fan of either of them (yet), so I’m just taking a casual interest in both of them, and don’t really feel stronly about them to make any argument for either. I’m just a little disconcerted at the inbalance in the way they were treated. Kris IS the winner, I think if they should appear together again in whatever show, whoever that manages Kris should make sure that, at the least, Kris should be given equal treatment. That or they shouldn’t appear together at all. Anyone with any sense knows that long before the AI finale Adam would the star of this season, everyone else are just also-rans. But it’s just not good for Kris to have that fact rubbed in every time he appears with Adam, and becomes somewhat of a side-kick to the Adam Lambert show, or be seen as hanging on to the coat tail of the star of this season, or be consider as the winner who isn’t. Whether they have great chemistry together or not is entirely beside the point. They are entirely different and separate artists and it is unfair to him not to be given the prominence or respect dued as the winner of the show.

So did the poor girl who thought she was probably Adam’s type. She must not read a lot. Or pay attention in general!

These two guys are just so cool and have such a nice rapport together. I always enjoy their joint interviews because it really helps put all the fanwars in perspective. They are clearly each other’s biggest fan.

And I really like someone’s idea upthread about them doing some work with a gay/straight alliance. Maybe even a joint interview with The Advocate. I know they are just ‘reality show contestants’ , but I find their friendship to be very uplifting.

I love them together but would prefer that they become established before they do anything even mildly political.

They should just get a weekly cable TV talk show. And Anoop should get on too!

It’s recent because they talk about the first few nights of the tour. So no more than a week, right?

Does anybody know if the LKL show with Adam and Kathy Griffin is being rescheduled? MJ Sorry but did not know where to ask this question so I posted it here. If I was wrong sorry.

I can’t find a schedule for it anywhere. Maybe it will be on in 2 years, after the MJ story is over!
