I also agree with the poster that said that one reason Kris’ veins are so prominent, is his extremely low percentage of body fat. There is nothing in that lean neck to hide the veins.

Oh, and a big uh-huh to what Gerien said about Kris’ lower register. I’ll take a sexy lower register over a super high one, anyday.

Btw, you can catch many performances like Adam’s in Vegas. Young singers trying too hard to be stars.

I wasn’t talking about performances. I was referencing Adam’s voice when someone was talking about Kris straining to hit the high notes. My opinion remains the same, Kris does not have a strong voice. JMO, of course.

After listening to Kris sing it, I have no desire to hear the original. (Not sure if that is a good or bad thing.)

I’ll accept that dare because I don’t believe Kris is a strong singer. He always seems to be struggling to hit the notes, especially the high note you mention. I also don’t believe Kris beat Adam because of song choices anymore than I believe he beat him because he’s a better singer.

I know mileage may vary, but hell yeah song choice had a part in the outcome of the competition. I don’t care how well Adam can sing, if the song is crap, it’s still going to be crap. And none of his arrangements have really worked to change that because he seems to think arrangement = sing the original melody out of existence. And what he replaces it with isn’t even good.

that and the fact that he chose MT20 & Killers song (i looovvvee both of them)…plus his cute looks matter too

BTW, if anyone feels bad for Kris, don’t. Some have to rehearse over and over to achieve what Kris does naturally.

Not to get to technical but I’m gonna…I believe what you are referring to is his jugular vein taking the used up blood out of his brain – don’t worry that won’t pop. The muscle contraction (see previous post regarding his large muscle mass) is forcing used up blood into it so it can get re-oxygenated in the lungs – that’s why it looks so large.

His brilliant brain uses up a lot of blood coming up with his awesome song choices and clever arrangements. Smart and sexy – it doesn’t get any better.

Off topic but it’s late and I felt the need to discuss anatomy especially Kris because lets be real the boy is fine.

And boy, does he have a sexy lower register.

Oh yeah and I wanted to add that I’m a massage therapist and Kris throat muscle are extremely muscular and he has probably less than 15% body fat which results in the pronouncement of said muscles. He is build like an athlete in the sense of the combination of low body fat and large muscle mass. Not to get too far off topic but if you assess his whole body you can see he is actually has a wide body type through the hips and his legs are large and muscular. His body is very solid and grounded to the earth…compare him to some of the other guys (gokey and adam in particular) his strength goes horizontal inside of vertical like Adams…OMG that is so far of topics it’s not even funny…MJ feel free to delete – I would totally understand!! HA!
