Personally I think he took off two stars because Kris had the audacity to win. That second paragraph is certainly strong evidence towards that.

Kris in previous interviews had said the people were throwing titles at him and they just ‘didn’t get it’. That is why he put his foot down and said, ‘We’ll just call it Kris Allen’.

Add me to the list of people who were furious that AL was getting the credit for Kris’ song choices and arrangements. That’s like me showing someone a painting and asking, ‘What do you think of this?’ and if they say ‘I like it’ they are immediately the artist who did the work.

For every good review, there is always one that isn’t..I’m surprised at this one

IA Lucy, if you look at it this way, the title does make sense… It takes me to “TMYFML” and the way he sings that song. But this doesn’t change the fact that the Title is toooo cheesy and like you, I’m glad they didn’t choose it.

Yeah, it’s cheesy. But thinking of it as a possible title is so Kris, to me. Because, really, I think this is what he feels when he’s doing music. … Well, glad they didn’t choose it. But, very cute and endearing and providing additional insight into Kris, to me, anyway.

LOL at Kris’ expression when he says the name! ‘Kris Allen’ just makes sense, like he said, this album is about introducing himself as an artist.

And awww at Kris Allen, the beatboxer, doing the beats for the Mat Kearney song. That waz sooo cute!

That was a scary potential title. I was quite surprised there wasn’t at least one acoustic track on the album. Nice to hear something about other tracks. We heard so much about collaborators for the other guy and next to nothing about Kris’ album during the writing process.

About “perfecting” the tracks that are on the album, I wish LLWD got another pass since it’s already sounds better mixed when played live as on Regis & Kelly.

It irked me too!!! Both had songwriting experience. And they said that they had helped each other out with songs on their albums … meaning, I think, that they had bounced ideas off of one another … Except that the press slanted it to make it sound like Adam had been helping Kris. Inexcusable and, as an Adam fan, I felt embarrassed about it. Not Adam’s fault but so, so unfair. And that kind of thing seemed to be happening all summer long. I’m a fan of Kris and his music too but … well, let’s just say that he has an extra deep store of patience. I admire him for it but I really wish that he didn’t need to use it so often. I mean seriously he’s put up with a hell of a lot of shit, especially from bad journalists, this past few months.
