As many of you know, American Idol finalist, Kree Harrison, has been kicking around Nashville for a few years now. She’s friends with up and coming country singer, Kacey Musgraves–singing background vocals on her highly acclaimed album Same Trailer Different Park.
She was also friends with the late Mindy McCreedy, who called Kree up on the stage to sing a duet during a 2011 CMA event at Rippy’s in downtown Nashville.
Another one of Kree’s Nashville pals is American Idol alum, Kellie Pickler, who is currently competing on the latest season of Dancing with the Stars. “She’s one of my good friends,” said Kree, who met Kellie a couple of years ago through a mutual friend in their adopted hometown of Nashville. “She’s a doll. I adore her. She’s literally the sweetest woman. She’s inspiring in so many ways.”
Kellie and Kree have something significant in common. They both have a REALLY good shot at winning their respective competitions. And if they do? “We’ve decided that if we win,” said Kree, “which I know she’s going to win Dancing With the Stars, we’re going to go get matching tattoos!”
Conveniently, the DWTS and Idol studios are situated right next each other–the better for Kellie and Kree to plan meetups via text messages. “She’s come and met everyone [at Idol]” said Kree. “She loves Janelle [Arthur]. They remind me a lot of each other. They’re both really witty.”
If and when that ink comes to pass, there better be photos!
