Season 2 Idol, Kimberly Caldwell guest stars in the new web show, Twenty Six Miles. The comedy/drama, produced by John Schneider from Dukes of Hazzard, is about a family of musicians living on Catalina Island in California.

Kim plays a country western star who visits the island. And to be honest, I only watched about the first 15 minutes. You could say I’m not a big John Schneider fan. I think he’s going to sing at some point. Not sure I want to witness that.

Check it out after the jump.

Reading your post MJ I got this image of John Schneider being hired to be a clown at a childhood birthday party of yours and traumatizing all the kids with his obnoxious act. I don’t know why, I just did.

I love this part and have to say I agree….

I have no desire to hear John or Kim sing, so I’ll pass. I have to say that Kim looks much better here than she has in the past. Clothes really do make a difference.

I watched a little bit. She wasn’t too bad in this format. She has learned volume control. ;-) Looks good, too.

I think the hair being softer suits her better, too.

Since I have no life apparently, I watched the whole damn thing. It was….cute. Actually made me want to visit Catalina Island, but Kim Caldwell’s voice is so grating on me. Glad they reserved that for the end; I don’t think I could have endured her singing throughout.
