Khloe Kardashian X Factor Host Front Runner (Report)

TMZ is reporting that Khloe Kardashian is the front runner for the female half of the X Factor hosting duo. DO NOT WANT UGH.

Khloe Kardashian may be doing her part to jump start the economy … because TMZ has learned she’s the front-runner to become the “X Factor” host and we’re told the suits want it to happen.

Sources intimately connected to the show tell TMZ … Khloe is definitely #1 among the women who tried out and is generally considered the best in the entire pack of host wannabes.

Khloe did a screen test that went over well.  The suits — including Simon Cowell (who has probably never worn a suit) — believe Khloe makes the most sense in terms of audience draw, since they’ve already invested heavily in Britney Spears and Demi Lovato to attract young viewers.

Producers will make a decision soon.  The host won’t appear until the live shows air, and that begins next month.

As for the odds … as one well-connected source tells us, “There’s at least an 85% chance she’ll get the job.”

When are the Kardashians GOING AWAY?  What happened to Kelly Osbourne? I thought she was getting the job, along with Glee star, Kevin McHale.

    To be fair, Khloe is the least obnoxious of the Kardashian clan. While she is GORGEOUS (IMO, of course), at the same time she is very relate-able because she’s not a perfect stick figure and a bombshell like her sisters. She is also hilarious at times and I think she’d do a great job hosting.

    Thank god for cable, CBS, and Netflix.  I think when the end of season numbers are revealed come Spring that FOX will be hurting bigtime.  Just like MTV they are spinning out of control and I don’t think the fall will be pretty.

    I am not a Kardashian fan at all!!! But – everyone complained that Steve Jones was horrible, what if Khloe is amazing and has tested amazing? She should be hired!! She is good on E! and doesn’t seem to be annoying like the others.

    One thing Im certain of — after all this time, they are going to go with the best because this a huge gig for any host so they have had tons to choose from. Maybe Khloe blew them away!

    As for Jim Cantiello I would love him to be the male host. Maybe he likes being behind the scenes host? No idea.

    I doubt she is, Glee cast and the Osbournes are on the guest list. Seems to point to Kevin and Kelly as hosts.

    I’d be cool with Khloe if she’s a good host. Kardashians may have gotten fame for being fame hungry, but if Khloe is an actual good host, why shouldn’t she get the job? Someone should be allowed to prove themselves.

    We should join the three big shows and make a kind of Celebrity Big Brother with their judges and hosts. Why singers, anyway? I’ve 12.000 songs in my computer.

    I agree. I have no use for Kardashians in general but when my sister made me watch some of their shows, she was BY FAR the least objectionable. I kind of liked her, she seemed like a down to earth, sensible girl even if she was a little spoiled.

     MJ, why don’t you just give Khloe a chance?? I remember early on you said One Direction would never make it big and that Simon was foolish for pushing them here in the states and look at them now. Also, I remember you mentioning you didn’t want Demi as a judge on XF because she is too teeny-bopper and now you say she is your favorite judge. Don’t knock Khloe until we’ve actually seen her in action!!

    I am so sick and tired of the Kardashians.. She’s probably the least annoying/obnoxious of the bunch, but that isn’t saying much. A lot of people dislike anything and everything to do with this family — I think the XFactor people need to take into consideration that they might lose potential viewers if they hire her. And I say that knowing that this isn’t fair to Khloe, necessarily. But on the other hand, what in her background makes her qualified for this job?

    Will we ever get rid of the Kardashians? I don’t care how “real” she is, what did she do to deserve this spot? I stopped watching Dancing With the Stars last fall because of Rob Kardashian’s appearance on the show (yeah, I know he was good, but come on).

    Well, at least I’ll have my Wednesdays free. Thank goodness for The Voice and Survivor.

    I can’t stand the Kardashians, but from what I’ve seen of them, Kloe is the least offensive. I’d probably like her if she wasn’t associated with her family.

    Of course, bottom line for me is that I have zero interest in the XFactor. I can’t stand Simon and his ego.

    Yes and with Lisa Whelchel/Blair from the Facts of Life coming on as a contestant on Survivor…should be good!  o/

    Its a win -win situation to use Khloe for Simon. He gets a big name (at least in TV land) for a host AND the X Factor will get hype from the family’s show ( and Khloe and her husand’s show if they ever decide to return). Plus Simon gets a easy pass to Kanye and perhaps other celebs that may or may not have been within his reach.

    I agree about Khloe in that she – and Rob to a certain extent – are the most relatable to in terms of that family. She at least is willing to look to the needs of someone else and sacrifice a show and other things to make her marriage work. And she has “hosted” a radio show.

    But I still think she would get the job based on on the amount of hype she would bring with her. Simon loves such promotion!

    They should have gone away years ago but as they haven’t, I predict they will be forcing themselves on us for many more years.

    I really like Kelly O so hope she gets it but like Khloe too.  Since Kelly is already on Fashion Police she might be more ready to jump into the job whereas Khloe may need a little time to get seasoned although she does or did host a radio show and seemed pretty comfortable with it on KKTM.  Either way I like both of them and like all the hire’s Simon’s made so far. Demi in particular seems like she is going to be an amazing judge and Simon was always my favorite on idol.  How was LA as a judge last year?  I’m excited to see the show.  I think it’s going to be a lot of fun.

    I think Khloe is very relatable. She has a quick wit and I think she’d do a great job. Say what you will about th Kardashians but they work their ass off. I have a hard time looking at Kelly Osbourne and i think she has very little personality. I can’t even believe she is on the fashion police. I think she’s a terrible dresser.

    I’ve already watched several clips of it posted else where and have really liked what I’ve seen so far, especially from Demi.  She has a fun personality that shines through and snarks on Simon.  She also wasn’t afraid to speak up to the contestants. Simon’s my favorite judge from any of these shows.  LA wasn’t in a lot of the clips so I don’t know how I’ll like him but I think he’ll be critical since he’s a producer which I like and will bring a different perspective to the panel.  I’m a casual Britney fan having grown up with her as the major pop star during my teens so I’m interested in seeing her.  Khloe I like from KUWTK and Kelly I like from the Osborns.  I say have both of them host instead of a male.  I also like that they have rappers and groups. I think it could provide some different contestants and brings something new to these singing shows that we haven’t seen before. True I haven’t watched a full episode yet but I like what I’ve seen so far so I’m excited for the premier.

    It won’t be soon enough for me. Ugh. Having a Kardashian host the X-Factor? Big turnoff for me.
