Khloe Kardashian One of Six Considered for X Factor Hosting Job

UGH. DO NOT WANT.  So, the talent-free Khloe Kardashian would be expected to keep a live show running and on track? Is Simon Cowell just hoping the X Factor turns into such a disaster that people will tune in for the train wreck? VIA TMZ

Khloe Kardashian is being seriously considered to become the next host of “X Factor” … TMZ has learned. Sources connected with the show tell us … they have whittled down the list of finalists to 6, and Khloe is on it.

We’re told Khloe would like the gig, but she’s not going to get it without a screen test. Production sources tell us … producers will be doing screen tests in the next 2 weeks. Our sources say they will NOT buy a pig in a poke, and anyone who wants the hosting job must audition.

Not a bad move for the show, because the Kardashians are a proven audience draw.

It’s a terrible move for the show. Why not hire an experienced broadcaster with a great personality. Would viewers tune into the X Factor just because a Kardashian is on it? I hate that singing competitions have become no longer about the competitors.

    At least it’s not Kourtney or Kim. Talk about flat personalities. It’s live TV, though, Khloe might have to watch her language.

    Lol..my friend tony just did that + is so happy..im thinking bt it…LIVE YOUR OWN LIFE..NOT VICARIOUSLY THRU OTHERS…in 10 years u wont remember what songs were done in ep 4…You may remember ur vacation, your date, your mom etc

    Am I the only one who liked Cardboard Steve? His ineptness was adorable…it endeared him to me. Still think he shoulda hosted shirtless. Anyway…Khloe seems clumsily daft, so she would suck, IMO. Can’t believe this scuttlebutt is true….seems like a publicity-drumming attempt.

    I just don’t think Steve was able to handle the producers constantly cussing him out for every little move.

    I also liked Steve a lot by the end of the season.  ( I knew he was done when the finale ended too soon and Melanie had nothing to say.)  He had a tough go but I definitely would give him another season.

    Khloe is the only Kardashian sister I can tolerate. If they have to go with one of them I guess she’s the least painful choice.

    Khloe has what it takes to be a good host IMO. She has a great sense of humor, experience hosting via the radio, and she’s very honest – she’d be good on the fly, just like Seacrest. I say give her a chance. She can’t be any worse than Mr. Robotic EyeCandy from last season. lol!

    I still have no idea who the Kardashians are or why they are famous.  I haven’t tried to find out, I just hear their names pop up sometimes.  I am also unsure about the origins of the “Snooki”

    I don’t think the host matters as long as they’re not totally awkward or totally attention-grabbing. They really don’t need to be particularly interesting or dynamic, imo, just competent. (See Seacrest, Ryan)

    Kim  Kardashian is the only  Kardashian with the relevant music training and singing experience to actually be QUALIFIED to host a show like this!  I’ll be upset if they don’t get her!!!!!!!!!
