Khloe Kardashian, Kevin Jonas, Kevin McHale Vie for X Factor Host

According to E News, The short list of contenders for X Factor hosts are Khloé Kardashian, Rocsi Diaz, host of BET’s 106 & Park, and Chrissy Teigen, a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and John Legend‘s girlfriend.

The list of contenders for the guys spot include Kevin Jonas,  Glee star Kevin McHale,  Extra host Mario Lopez and former High School Musical star Corbin Bleu, who was in the running for the gig in season one.

E Online puts Khloe and Kevin in the pole position, but it’s important to remember that both stars have shows that air on the E Channel.  I smell some cross promotion at work! Grain of salt, and all that stuff.

The E source says a decision will be made within the next 7-10 days, but that’s pretty much what Simon Cowell said in a recent interview.  The X Factor boss also said he’s looking for two hosts–a boy and a girl–without hosting experience. “That will make it more interesting,” he said.

    I know I’ll be the only one, but I’d love for Khloe and Kevin just due to the vast cross promotion on E! News and their respective reality shows.

    Looks like the two hosts will DEFINITELY have a first name beginning with K – Kelly O, Khloe Kardahian, the two Kevins (Mchale and Jonas)

    Kevin has a show on E!?  I like seeing the boys exploring other avenues. 

    Joe is excellent as one of the 4 mentors on “The Next”, which happens to be my favorite tv singing contest.

    I said it when Khloe’s name was brought up in another post last week – if she has the skills then there is no reason that she shouldnt get it because she is a Kardashian. I cant stand the family, would never watch their show – but if she is the best of all of the girls that auditioned then the job should be hers.

    I think Khloe and Kevin Jonas could work. Rocsi is pretty good too. Kevin McHale didn’t impress me when he hosted the People’s Choice. Don’t really know much about the others.

    Of those, I vote for Khloe & Corbin.  Corbin was chosen last year so Im sure he had something to offer…Khloe might be ok.  Cant see Mario Lopez – I cant stand him personally and Simon said he wanted someone who doesnt host.  Mario has built his career on his dimples and being able to read a teleprompter…From Extra to that MTV Randy dance show…UGH UGH UGH>  But Im really surprised out of all the months and months they had, this is the best they can do?  That doesnt make me too confident in Fox and Simon….WHich one is KEvin? The married one? I dont like him – Id go for one of the other 2 – Nick or the other one that I cant name. I wouldnt mind someone like Lance Bass – I think hed be good – hes had a radio show I think on Sirius so he must be able to do live work – and I dont think hes hosted a show before although I could be wrong – he mightve done some cable reality show. Or arent there any young 20s male stars out there…Maybe theyre all too big and going into acting…They definitely wanna keep the young vibe. (im surprised carson got a hosting gig – hes got the be the most vanilla, boring host Ive ever seen employed)…I still wish Simon would ve brought Dermot over from the UK- Hes really good and paired with a pretty girl would work

    Shes probably the best of the 3 – she has a sense of humor – I think shed like doing something out of her wheelhouse.  It would keep her in LA…Kris would get her 10%…it would be more pub for the Kardashians but also bring more ‘star’ power (even though shes a reality star – but look at her and her family’s twitter followers and businesses) that would add to the season of XF press with Brit and Demi.  I wouldnt be surprised – esp when the live shows begin – if a lot of behind the scenes drama stories are leaked to keep the show in the press like it is the Uk tabloids

    As stated before, this Nielsen monitored household in the target demograph is checking out if any Kardashian is on the show. I’ll give the viewer count to The Voice.

    K-K-K-K-K-Kill me now! I hate the Kardashians. This news has killed almost ALL the good will I had started to feel for the show. Please make it one of the other K’s. Is Kevin the Jonas brother with the wife? I’ll take him.
