Kelly Clarkson to Perform at the ACM Honors in September

Performers and presenters have been announced for the 8th Annual ACM Honors, set for Sept 9 at the Ryman in Nashville.  Kelly Clarkson, who has been nesting in Nashville since having her baby in June, will be one of the performers, along with Nashville’s Clare Bowen, Sam Palladio and more.

It had already been announced that Carrie Underwood would receive the receive the Gene Weed Special Achievement Award for “unprecedented, unique, and outstanding individual achievement in country music.”

It’s a pretty good lineup! Too bad it won’t be televised.

WHAT: The 8th Annual ACM HONORS, as previously announced, is an evening of musical tribute performances and award presentations celebrating the non-televised special honorees and winners from the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, held earlier this year. Tickets priced at $40.00 are available at Ticketmaster.com and the Ryman box office.
