The first ever Christmas special from a capella stars, Pentatonix aired on TV Wednesday night. One of the many highlights was a Christmas carol bit featuring American Idol OG Kelly Clarkson. In the clip, the quintet arrive at Kelly’s house hoping she’ll sing with them. At first she turns them down. Psych! She was just kidding. Kelly happily joins the gang for a soulful rendition of “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.”
Kelly Clarkson and Pentatonix have a history. Two summers ago, the group toured as Kelly’s opening act on her “Piece by Piece” tour. These days, Pentatonix is packing them in on their own worldwide arena tours.
