Kelly Clarkson – “Mr. Know It All” “Since You Been Gone” – Ellen Degeneres.

UPDATE: Adding a BONUS CLIP of Kelly singing “Since You Been Gone”.

Kelly Clarkson’s performance of her new single “Mr. Know It All” is even better today’s Ellen Degeneres Show than her fine performance of the tune on Jay Leno a few nights ago.

I’m loving Kelly’s new glam look too!

After, Kelly sat down with Ellen to talk about how a new yoga routine has helped her calm down and lose a little weight. Plus, more on her love of Friday Night Light’s (and recent Emmy winner) Kyle Chandler.

kelly looks and sounds great! Sassy!

  • Tess

OK…so I’m deplorably shallow…but I must say that Kelly is rocking one nice chest w/ a wonderful show of boobs. Now why in the world has she been keeping those girls under wraps.

Again, I’m not overly fond of the song…but I do enjoy Kelly (and her new found friends)…(oh my, I sound like a pervert).

It’s ok Tess, I was wondering the same thing too. So glad to see she got a stylist for her promo. Looks great. I really love the straight hair and the extensions like her video shoot, but that’s much more maintenance.

  • Buffynut

Well that was pretty damn perfect! You go, Kelly!!

  • yksask

Kelly is looking great! Good for her.

Really? I love Kelly’s voice and spirit but IMHO that song is commercial crap which will also probably be a huge hit. Doesn’t mean its any good. And stuffing Kelly (and the girls) into that dress just looks uncomfortable and kind of awkward to me. The gal is fun and wild and beautiful. She doesn’t need to follow some arbitrary skin-tight low cut fashion model style to succeed. Obviously, she’s doing pretty well without that till now. Oh well. Maybe the shallow visuals match the shallow material she is having to hawk.

Nor does she have to look like Miss Dowdy Golightly to prove that she is a legitimate artist. One of my pet peeves is that grooming and beauty and showing off one’s assets is belittling to an Artist. I think a woman showing that she cleans up nice and is attractive, sexy, and appealing in no way diminishes her as a “real” artist. I think there is room for both. So congrats to Kelly for having a lot of talent in both departments.

Thanks for posting Since You Been Gone! Love hearing her wail on that song. So damn good.

Agreed kelly has the voice but she also has to play the game. The music industry is tough. You have to compete. If she came out with her hair a mess and looking like she just got out of bed??? Yep there would be an outcry. Maybe just maybe she likes how she feels when she dresses up. Works for me. Hope she sells a ton!

Last year, Kelly performed in New Zealand wearing baggy jeans and a plain shirt. I must admit, I like her that way. It just seemed real and authentic. But in this day and age, it’s difficult to stay afloat in the industry without a little bit of compromise. If you’ve listened to her song Ready, you’ll get subtle hints that she understands now that times have changed and people are shallower than ever and that the only way to keep your music out is to “play the game”. This glam Kelly is not the real Kelly. The real Kelly is the one who shows up looking like a truck driver in private shows and sings mournful, personal tunes.

Now, I saw Kelly on the Jay Leno Show and she looked so beautiful – wearing this black sequined (short) dress. It complimented her looks. Just perfect. However, I also thought she looked uncomfortable in the blue dress she wore on Ellen’s Show.

She seems so comfortable singing. What a voice! I love her zany, cute personbality and I hope the meditation and Yoga help!

Please tell me I’m not the only one who burst out laughing after Kelly’s “They don’t make them like that anymore” comment. That sh*t made my night! :-)

  • 1wildegirl

She sounded amazing and was as hilarious on Ellen as always.

…and that is my favorite Kelly of all! But I do appreciate that she dresses up to do promo. I appreciate it even more that she’s looking her age in these outfits as opposed to her Blanche Devereaux dress up clothing of old.

I like that song “Mr know it all” – so much attitude in the song and her singing. The crowd was into it too.
