Watch Kelly Clarkson deliver an emotional and tender rendition of “It’s Quiet Uptown” from the recently released Hamilton Mixtape. The set features artists from the pop music world re-interpreting songs from the hit Broadway musical Hamilton.
The American Idol alum performed the song on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers primetime New Year’s Eve special. The elegiac tune is a fitting ending to a year fraught with so much sadness and uncertainty. Here’s to a better 2017. Hopefully.
