Kelly Clarkson treated the audience at the PNC Center in Holmdel New Jersey to a cover of “Shake it Out” by Florence + the Machine.

The tune is the latest in fan-requested covers from the Season 1 American Idol winner. Things you should know: Kelly likes all kinds of music, but NOT DEATH METAL! It makes her want to hurt herself and others. AND. DO NOT DISTRACT HER. She’s got ADHD ya’ll.

     I believe this is the second Flo song Kelly has done on tour? Another great cover, hard to do this one live too cause of the chorus but well done. I would love a Florence/Kelly duet, both can really sing live.

    I was at the show yesterday and Kelly was fantastic! The place was packed and extremely enthusiastic for her. So glad I went.

    Kelly is so funny!! Love this cover!! Kelly, covering songs and owning them since 2002! Speaking of 2002… I cannot believe next week, Sept. 4, is her 10-year anniversary of winning American Idol. Wow!!! I feel old. HA!
