Kelly Clarkson Christmas “Wrapped in Red” Drops 10/29 – Cover Art! (PHOTO)

Kelly Clarkson reveals the stunning cover and title of her upcoming Christmas album on twitter!. Wrapped in Red was produced by Greg Kurstin and is set to drop on October 29.

“Check out the cover of my Christmas album! I can’t wait for y’all to hear it,” tweeted Kelly. “I have been dying to make this album since I was a kid!” she added.

Finally, a Christmas album from Kelly. Hooray.

This won’t be a Christmas album made exclusively of cover songs. Kelly cowrote the title track of the album, “Wrapped In Red,” with the cowriters of her current single at country radio, “Tie It Up,” her close friend and singer/songwriter Ashley Arrison, her longtime guitarist Aden Eubanks, and hit songwriter/producer Shane McAnally. Idols Now reports the lead single from the project will be “Underneath The Tree.” That’s another Kelly cowrite with producer Greg Kurstin.

The album will feature several collaborations with country acts. Kelly has teased a collaboration with country legends and friends Reba and Trisha Yearwood on “Silent Night” for the album. Another one of the finest voices in country music, Ronnie Dunn let slip in April that he also sings on Kelly’s Christmas album, but deleted his Facebook post on the topic.

Recording has been under way since late last year, when a saxophone player tweeted about playing on Kelly’s Christmas album.
