The problem was Clive & the label successfully convinced everyone that it was a bad record. Low sales does not = bad record. I'm a little sad that she jumped back on the bandwagon so quickly. It would have taken her a few albums to get her footing as a songwriter, but she definitely had potential in that area. No doubts the next record will be great, but how long will it be before they start giving the best songs to a younger female? To survive as an artist in the long haul, she must develop herself as a songwriter. “My December” was quite good. She is so clear and strong on the really big notes and Reba allows her to show her stuff on stage. Reba tears up like a proud Momma. I agree - I expect this cd to be HUGE.
