Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton “A New Kid In Town” (VIDEO)

Kelly Clarkson was a special guest on pal Blake Shelton’s Not So Family Christmas. She turns her appearance into a contest. Guess who wins? Ha. She and Blake sang the holiday duet, “There’s A New Kid In Town” from The Voice coach’s new album, Cheers, It’s Christmas.

Also, Blake performed with his wife, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire and his mom. Plua, he made un-PC jokes about little people, killing off the entire cast of Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and turning The Night Before Christmas into a story about crack heads. I guess you had to be there!

Watch Kelly and Blake below.

Kelly was really funny and adorable! I wasn’t too fond of the song that she sang with Blake, but they both sounded very good singing it.

Not too fond of the song? why? because its the real meaning of CHRISTmas?

I love Kelly but am not fond of Blake…

I’ve grown to like Blake singing non-country/countrified songs (not a country fan). Like his duet with Christina.

There’s just something about him that comes across as fake…I’m probably wrong about him and he’s the nicest guy ever…I like his wife Miranda though…I am not a fan of country music but she comes across to me as very sweet…and I do like her voice…

I don’t get that vibe from Blake, but you could easily be right. I guess that for me, he projects a kind of “good-old boy”, nice-guy image, but who knows how accurate that is to his real life persona? I really don’t know anything about Miranda, aside from seeing a couple of her performances on awards shows, plus I’m not a country music fan. lol

I turned it off, bored.  I think Blake is at his best and most entertaining on The voice.  I don’t really need much of him singing.

I needed to hear more Kelly on the harmonies, I can tell she was sounding great but they made Blake sound too loud. I loved her verse. Blake has a good voice but he hasn’t been with interpreting lyrics since back when he sang Ol Red IMO. TV’s definitely the right place for him.

This is why I love Kelly Clarkson, she is so funny. I think they sounded great together. I didn’t really love the song, but I think they were awesome together.

Kelly is so hilarious, wish she had more opportunities to do things like this!

I loved it.  Don’t love country music, but I do love Blake and Kelly and their voices.  It was so off-beat, light-hearted, funny and atypical of what I normally see on tv, so all good! :)

I think Blake is funny and has a good voice but I don’t like him as a host.  Don’t know why they gave Reba’s hosting gig to him.

I didn’t get past the lead in before nixing it.  Stupid.  Kelly’s way too talented for that crap.  I don’t think it’s Blake’s fault because he probably didn’t write that stupid stuff but still couldn’t watch it.
