Kelly Clarkson and Jordan Meredith – “Stronger” – Milwaukee Summerfest (VIDEO)

Kelly Clarkson played Summerfest last night–the huge annual festival held in Milwaukee WI that attracts 800,000 to 1,000,000 people every year.

And because she’s a girl who is cool like that, Kelly invited her recently ousted partner, Jordan Meredith, from the ABC Duets reality competition show, onstage to perform their duet “Stronger.” Jordan apparently hails from the area.

    I haven’t watched the show for the last few weeks but I have to say how nice it was for Kelly to invite Jordan onstage with her.  It’s nice to see judges who really care about the contestants even after they have been eliminated from the competition.  It looks like both Kelly and Jordan enjoyed themselves on stage.

    Jordan had tweeted Kelly last night telling her to “ice the ankle” so she must’ve hurt herself a little bit from the fall.  I’d be shocked if she didn’t, that was a tough one.

    One thing about Kelly – When she sings a duet with someone, be it a “big name” or somebody just starting out, like Jordan, she instinctively let’s them “shine” and doesn’t overpower.  I also like how she’s not afraid to let her partner stay on the main melody line while she effortlessly takes off on a soaring harmony part that blends perfectly.  A true, humble, and insanely talented artist!

    Kelly is incredible. She has such a big heart to go with her huge amazing voice. I love Duets, and I am glad to see Jordan sing with her again.
