Kelly Clarkson Added to VH1 Diva Special

More American Idol goodness has been added to the upcoming VH1 Divas special.  Kelly Clarkson has been added to the lineup which also includes Jordin Sparks, and Adam Lambert as host.

Melanie Fiona, Metric and Pitbull have also just been added to the lineup which also includes  Ciara, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Kelly Rowland.

VH1 Divas, a tribute to Whitney Houston and Donna Summer,  debuts on Sunday December 16.

VH1 “DIVAS” Dance Party Hosted By Adam Lambert to Include Tribute to Legends Whitney Houston and Donna Summer

NEW YORK, NY –November 29, 2012 – VH1’s beloved, popular franchise “VH1 Divas” announced today additional performers to join this year’s dance music tribute. Kelly Clarkson, Melanie Fiona, Metric and Pitbull will join VH1’s dance party, along with Havana Brown as House DJ. Airing live from the L.A. Shrine Auditorium “VH1 Divas” will be hosted by Adam Lambert on Sunday, December 16 at 9PM/8c on VH1.

This year “VH1 Divas” red carpet will be live streamed on DIVAS.VH1.com on Sunday, December 16 from 7-9PM ET/4-6PM PT (#VH1DIVAS). Sponsored by Samsung, the live stream will provide fans an unfiltered front-row seat to all the red carpet action and will feature real time interviews with entertainment’s biggest stars. Beginning Monday, December 17, fans can view a curated red carpet highlights video on DIVAS.VH1.com.

“VH1 Divas” is bringing together Ciara, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Jordin Sparks to pay homage to the greatest divas of dance music with performances featuring current and classic dance hits.
