I demand an Idol diva throw down!  I wonder what song they could all do together?

  • sdmama

Or, diva from Idol against diva from Voice, X Factor, America Got Talent, and what else did I forget graduates. LOL. In a couple of years. New competition show out of competition shows!

Joke aside, the show is gonna be fun! Looking forward to it.

  • zaclona77

…well, this is the strangest line-up of “divas” I could ever imagine…

  • Klaine

This should be a great show and I love that Lambert is considered a diva too…I dont understand why something like this isnt a regular show or at least a monthly or quarterly special…Love to see todays young artists (male AND female) sing with the oldies but goodies who are often their real idols…just think it would be a new twist and theyd also be able to sell these duets on itunes to make more money..(didnt think Jordin is a huge diva considering mediocre music success but as Hudson showed, a movie really boosts your star power — I dont think Hudsons original albums have done that well either)

  • standtotheright

I don’t care if they are divas or not: Yay for VH1 for putting Melanie Fiona and Emily Haines on my TV!

  • Kesia Monteith

You like Melanie Fiona, too? Awesome, I haven’t stopped playing her latest record. Nice to see Metric as well. Canadians represent, yeah!

Boo to Pitbull, though, I’ve seen enough of him :/

  • Chicagolaw

OMG, I would kill for a Kelly/Adam duet.

  • heartly

Boo to Pitbull, though, I’ve seen enough of him :/

But he’s Mr. Worldwide!  I agree.  lol

This is a major DVR show for me, sorry Kelly and Jordin.  This is probably blasphemous to say, but can this be the last Whitney tribute for a while?  I like that it’s incorporating Donna Summer in it though.

I hope they keep the extra people to a minimum this year.  The show last year was a mess because they had so many involved and way too many egos happening.  And keep Kelly away from the potholes!

  • buffynut2001

“OMG, I would kill for a Kelly/Adam duet.”

    Yes, please!! :)

  • Van

VH1 sure loves them some KC this will be her third time on Divas.

  • loveroftalent

Dear Universe…Please make it happen…There are so many Christmas songs I would love for them to duet on….

  • yksask

Yeah I might watch to see Kelly but other wise not so much.

  • Aavari

Oh, I would love to hear Kelly and Adam sing together. But not a Christmas song, please.

The line up is…interesting. Metric?? Metric gets a lot of airplay on my favourite alt station here, and they’re one of those bands I really, really try to like…but just don’t. Her voice is just so flat to me. Oh well.

  • loveroftalent

Lol..I got so excited and now just realized I had shows mixed up…But I would love to hear Adam duet with Kelly and Jordin as well…

  • loveroftalent

I’m looking forward to Adam, Kelly and Jordin…I think it’s going to be such a fun show….Wish I could watch it here in Canada, but will have to wait for a utube…..Oh wait I just read the whole article, they are going to stream it…YES!!!!

  • dcglam

This VH1 Divas special is looking bigger and bigger.   I am so thrilled to see Adam connected with this show in such a big way.
Both hosting and performing — HUGE!!!

  • supersonic

VH1 sure loves them some KC this will be her third time on Divas.

VH1 loves them some Adam Lambert, too.  I see they’re still trying to make him happen.

I’m sorry, but this lineup is sorry.  None of these people are “divas”; none of them should be singing Whitney or Donna Summer songs.  This really shows how sad the state of VH1 Divas (and how sad the state of music) is.  This special used to be something good.  Not anymore.

  • gferna

I’ve never watched a VH1 DIVAS, but for Adam I’d go see the very satan himself…  Very good lineup, I have to admit.  Not a fan of any other performer, but most of them are current singers, I think VH1 is going to score big time with this one.  I hope Adam has the chance to sing his own songs, not tributes plzzz…

  • jobeob987

I don’t know if this has been mentioned already, however, I would LOVE an Adam/Kelly duet!

  • milwlovesadam

I’m looking forward to several things, and hoping they happen, a duet with Adam and Kelly. A solo by Adam. Adam singing Hot Stuff.

Hot Stuff from this summer: at 3:30

  • lovetheusa1776

Yes – the “very satan” is right – for me that means the UStream from HK at 5:00 a.m. Friday with up to two billion viewers.

Find Jordin’s voice exceptional – got my votes her season and, as I’ve mentioned before, her performance at the Whitney tribute was truly exceptional.  Beautiful girl, too.

Never watched this program, but from those three Lambert vids, it appears to be a lot of fun – looking forward to it.

  • HermeticallySealed

I’ll be interested in seeing what Metric does.  Only discovered them recently after seeing Scott Pilgrim.

  • MellyPer1692

I am so excited for this show I can’t stand the waiting!!!

Kelly and Adam and Jordin on the same show?? Soooo good!! Adam is getting so many opportunities!! The MAMA awards, the international concerts, Sold out shows in South African arenas!, The NY Benefit and did you guys see the Barbie Loves Adam Lambert up for auction?? It’s for charity and last year they made Nikki Minaj and Katy Perry dolls for the auction. So cool they used the Queen outfit!!

  • Jazz_11

LOL. Now VH1Diva’s getting better by adding another big voice Kelly to company Adam. I was a bit dissapointed with the line up before these new additions. So now we can expect to see a duet between Adam & Kelly. Both can belted tunes from Whitney Houston and don’t need autotune… LOL. Excited !

  • fuzzywuzzy

    Excited !”

That would be SO cool! They can both wail! lol

  • lovetheusa1776

     Like “Collect Call.”

  • HermeticallySealed

Think I’d rather ‘Help I’m Alive’ ‘Sick Muse’ or ‘Black Sheep.’

  • lovetheusa1776

Yup – lots of good stuff – Breathing Underwater (incl. acoustic)
