I dont think it is made up or she is trying to milk it in the press. The song I think on her album the the song I jus want to be loved is the song she wrote about it. She explained the whole story behind the song. When your on the road all the time away from friends and think about it in her case she has no family to lean on. She said one night at 3 am she emailed amy mayo and said I just wat someone to love me. And she emailed her back saying they needed to write a song about it. Sounds like she was very lonely. Her dramas are things that every young woman can relate to. I do know that Carrie's soap operas have more to do with what gorgeous hunk of a boyfriend she's gonna break up with via text. Stripping away how it was all built up on AI, her upbringing certainly wasn't the easiest. Having her father get out of jail and promptly return and then her mother appearing out of nowhere had to be rough since it all took place publically. She's still young and despite the past couple of years, not very worldly. It makes sense to me that it would have thrown her for a loop just dealing with all of it. The nasty breakup with a boyfriend she probably relied on couldn't have helped.
