The song is written by Jimmy Ritchey (who’s cowritten George Strait hits like “I Gotta Get To You” and “Twang”) plus a bunch of Jake Owen songs), Leslie Satcher (who cowrote “Tough”), and Don Poythress (who cowrote Kellie’s “Things That Never Cross A Man’s Mind” and Easton Corbin’s breakthrough hit “A Little More Country Than That”).
