This interview with Kellie Pickler is at least a few days old, but what caught my eye was her hair. Maybe she taped this interview on Halloween?

If you can get past the crazy do and the disembodied answers to non-existent questions, the interview is pretty good. Kellie touches on her latest album, songwriting, the CMA’s, and she ends with a bit about Jennifer Hudson.

Kellie’s going on another USO tour this year. Plus, she’s going to be a special correspondent on Ryan Seacrest’s New Years Rockin’ Eve.

Video after the JUMP…

There is a drastic disconnect between the outrageous hairdo and the serious answers she’s giving.

But she is a doll and when put to task, the girl really does have an intelligent voice and speaks from the heart about Jennifer’s tragedy.

    I like her.

Either that’s a major case of bedhead or I would fire my stylist!

She gave wonderful answers and has a great personality. It’s hard to believe that I disliked her on the show.

So I’m thinking Dolly Parton with an edge.

Kellie has become one of my favorites. I enjoy her music and once she got past all the AI manipulations, she’s just been so real with her fans – so down to earth.

It looks like the stopped in the middle of styling her hair for a photo shoot! Sure would love to know the background on that.

Lovely look, she is drifting toward the Cyndi Lauper with that hair.

I adore this young woman. She is nothing like the role she played on idol. She is bright, thoughtful, and articulate. I think she is very much a Dolly Parton type. Dolly has some edge now……I mean you cannot construct the image she has without having an edge. She too was a naughty little minx, lol.

I love Dolly. She’s smart, funny, talented and a helluva business woman. Did y’all know Dolly’s production company produced the tv series “Buffy the Vampire Slayer?”

So, Kellie has picked a good role model. :)

I like her too. She’s fun and silly. She never takes herself too seriously. Good on her for getting the Rockin Eve gig!
