Give the girl a break, the voice don't get a whole lot better in that amount of time, and that being the case, I think she did alright. I only heard Taylor Swift sing "live" one time, and that was on an episode of Nashville Star. Her performance was a mess. I can barely hear her until she gets to the higher notes. It makes the song sound like it doesn't have a melody or something. I think she sounded much better live on Idol this year when she sang that Red High Heels song. Not a general fan of country, but in terms of voices I prefer: Carrie > Kristy > Kellie, but in terms of personality: Kellie > Carrie > Kristy. YMMV-- just my opinion!
