Kellie Pickler – Album Drops Today

Kellie Pickler’s new album drops today! Her sophomore effort is self-titled, and if you’d like to give it a listen check out Kellie’s Listening Party.

On first listen, my favorites are the country weeper “Didn’t You Know How Much I Loved You” and “Best Days of Your Life” (written with Taylor Swift).   “Rocks Instead of Rice” and “Going Out in Style” are pure Kellie. Heh.

I have to say it’s more substantive than her first record.   It’s obvious more care was taken to pick and record the songs.

    You can really hear the difference in this album from the last one. I love the fact that Kellie’s personality and humor come through on these songs. Good luck, Kellie! Hope this one propels you into real stardom!

    I think Kellie is a very cute girl, but that album cover is hideous. Her hair is too pale, her face is smunched and weird, and her expression looks like she just smelled poo.

    This album will solidify her as one of country’s best blonde It Girls. I’m so glad her personality comes across in the songs, she’s a doll. “Rocks Instead of Rice” should be a hit single. I also love “Best Days of Your Life”, I adore Swift as well so their collaboration is awesome!
