American Idol judge, Keith Urban, performed a mini-concert to help celebrate the NFL kickoff game between the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens in Denver, CO, which aired on NBC.

Watch the country singer perform his hit “Little Bit of Everything” and another song from his upcoming album, Fuse, titled, “Even The Stars Fall For You.”  While the teams were preparing to start the came in Denver, Keith sang on a “floating stage” that was tugged into the city’s Inner Harbor in Baltimore.

Watch the performances below.

I don’t like either of these songs on the album but Keith definitely knows how to sell them live.

Keith trended for a while on twitter. A lot of mixed opinions but a lot of the negative ones were largely from non country fans and it had more to do with how he wasn’t the right fit to launch the football season which is understandable. Two country love songs isn’t the type of music that will get people pumped up for football : )

His performances by themselves though, were quite good. The crowd seemed to love him.

Keith Urban performed in BALTIMORE, not Denver.

Keith is such an attractive man and I do like the second song. I hope he album does well in sales.

I’m still not feeling the second song but i love “little bit of everything ” now (hated it initially). Its sooo damn catchy and its so hard not to sing a long everytime it comes on.

I think the negativity was not so much non-country fans, as Baltimore Ravens fans who once again did the “Seven Nation Army” chant on their own.

Also the Baltimore Sun gave Keith a good review but was not kind about the situation for Ravens fans: http://www.veooz.com/news/GAHSMC.html?tag=keith_urban

“Tellingly, the most emphatic reaction from the crowd came while Urban and his band stopped playing and waited for NBC to introduce them for a final time. As if on cue, a small section of the crowd began a “Seven Nation Army” chant. The crowd roared with approval…”

Sad to have your team win the SuperBowl and then not have the home game for the presentation.

Keith is looking and sounding great! He so clearly loves performing and has a lot of stage presence and charisma. Easy to understand his appeal.
