My guess is she was hired because of "personality" and is there to fight with Simon. She has been through A LOT!! She is just very sweet (and does do flubs) and can't truly be mean. However, she does bring chemistry to the judges table and hopes she stays and stays. Having said that, I also think Kara is going to bring a great personality to the show! It seems she will have no problem being honest and direct, but not cruel. Okay, I’m really liking Paula more and more. She has been through A LOT!!
