I donà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t mean to be selfish about it. But he is the American Idol. There are not ten of them or even two. This is a charity event and it is nice that they are all supporting it, but I wish he had a few more opportunities to strike out on his own. He deserves it.

I think that they included the other Idols because they would have nine other fanbases watching and possibly sending money to support the cause. If it were just Cook, I would have no reason to be interested in the event.
