I loved this guy. I can’t believe they didn’t give him more of a backstory. I guess they don’t want the “repeat” auditioners to be seen as a good thing.

  • lurksalot

Think he is an OK guy with a nice voice…not top 12.

  • idolbeat

He looks a little like Chikezie.

  • BootStar

I thought he sounded like Chikezie. He seemed very old school to me, though, and that was Chikezie’s downfall. Now if Ju’Not can do something a la Chiikezie’s “She’s a Woman,” he might get some attention. Otherwise, poor guy, he’s got no chance whatsoever. (And, I’m sorry, could he please drop the apostrophe, LOL?)

  • dreamr

LOL BootStar. The apostrophe reminds me of last season’s semi-finalist, Asia’h Epperson. My friends and I all had a good laugh about the ‘h and added it to all of our names in our MSN display names last year. :happy_tb:

As for Ju’Not, he’s okay. Personally, I preferred Jamar’s rendition of “Hey There Delilah,” but oh well. He sounds like he has a decent voice, though.

  • St.Lucia

I would have liked Jamar over him.

But Jamar would have made the competition too close.

I understand, Junot is cannon fodder….

  • Dr. Tracey

He was o.k, I liked him.

  • Grammie Kari

Really don’t know much about him and he’s got a lot to conqier to make an impression.

  • abbysee

I like him alot. I think his handling of ‘Delilah’ showed he could be current. I never get bored with good singers.

  • hcpoirot

Another cannon folder. Too many tough competition for the boys this year. Tough luck.
