Julianne Hough To Be Dancing With the Stars 4th Judge (VIDEO)

It’s official. Former Dancing with the Stars pro dancer, Julianne Hough will become the new 4th judge. Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli return to the panel. Julianne appeared on Good Morning America today to make the announcement.

Besides Len Goodman taking off here and there, the judges panel on DWTS has remained stable over the years. Adding the youthful Julianne is likely another way to chase the younger demo that eludes the competition reality show. But I don’t think you’re ever going to get young people interested in ball room dancing starring a bunch of C list celebrities.

Great gig for Julianne. It’s not like her movie career has taken off. I’m not surprised she’s returned to TV when she had the chance.
