Josiah Leming Debut Album To Come out July 13

It’s been a long road for former Idol contestant, Josiah Leming. Within a year after being cut right before Season 7’s Top 24, the talented singer-songwriter was signed to Warner Brothers records.

Time passed, music was written and recorded, EPs released (the excellent Angels Undercover and Punk Ass Rain) and still no album.

Until now. Josiah tweeted yesterday, “the earth will shatter and “come on kid” will be coming out on July 13th ( : unless a song goes to radio, in which case it might have to wait one more month tops. 2 years of my life is in this thing ( :”

Hooray! after the jump, check out a recent interview with Michael Halloran of  ProjectRhythmSeed.com and an amazing performance of  “Appalachia”.  Check out more from Josiah at his MySpace HERE.

The interviewer compared his reaction to hearing Josiah for the first time to the first time he heard Jeff Buckley
