Watch Joshua Ledet perform “Dancing in the Streets” with the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders! The performance is from Thursday’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Philadelphia.

He’s obviously singing live. For one thing, he flubs the words one or two times. Oops. He’s still got that raspy soul thing going, however!

Check it out.

Yay! Thank you for posting this MJ! I’ve been wondering where Josh disappeared to. There’s been no buzz from his corner ever since he debuted “Broken Man” at that event a few months ago.

    Going to watch now …

(oh, and why’s he trying to look like Jermaine Jackson circa 1985? :-/)

I love Josh but I didn’t really enjoy this.  Not used to him standing still.   I don’t feel like his voice was in top form.   Also not a fan of cheerleaders.  Yeah, i guess I didn’t really like anything about it.

How he comes out with album soon.. He’s super talented and would like to see him have some success. As for P2, why is he going on talk k shows and still singing a song he released 10 months ago. He finally has an album.. Song some new music.. Is there not a new single… I think people have heard HOME… time to prove you’re not a one trick pony.

Haha, I agree. This was all over the place. Very bored of that song, and the cheerleaders doing that routine to it is just funny (in a bad way).

But I love him too and he sounds good in certain parts… others not so much but with this weird setup I guess he did what he could with it.

I love Joshua, but, it’s time for him to take some serious for real voice lessons. It sounds like he’s got major nodules forming on those lovely vocal cords. He can sang, but, he needs to learn how to protect his voice, so that his talent can be enjoyed for years to come. Oh, and he needs a contract.

Not to make the topic too much about Phillip, but ‘Home’ is a solid hit. Having a hit song isn’t a small thing these days and his label will want to keep promoting as long as people want to listen to it and continue to buy it. :)

Josh sounds great.  I hope he puts an album out soon. Justin Guarini partipated in the finale at same parade.

Love Joshua and think he did a fine job at the Philly parade.

Love, love , love Joshua Ledet!

Joshua sounded fine, nice rasp, good expression.  He may very well have nodules, but I don’t hear them.  Learning some technique is always a good idea.  I can’t imagine an album in the forseeable future…unless some small label needs losses for tax purposes.

I’m sure he’s still singing Home, because it’s still selling and gaining spins.  Christmas season is not the time to come out with a new song.

The best version of this song will always be Laura Nyro’s. Having said that, I love love love me some Joshua.

I thought Josh sounded good, if possibly a little out of breath. The only flub I noticed was that he was still singing after the music and backup (backing track?) ended.
