Josh Groban sings One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” (Emmy Video)

Have you ever wondered what One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” would sound like sung by Josh Groban? Actually, I haven’t either. But here it is.

Groban joined forces with Emmy host, Jimmy Kimmel, on the broadcast last night in an “In Memorium” to…Jimmy. I didn’t quite get the joke, but Josh’s tongue in cheek version of the 1D hit made it all worthwhile.

    …Actually, I just notice the lyrics are a setup. If I’m only beautiful because I don’t know I am, but you want me to see what you see and realize I’m beautiful, so once I do you ain’t gonna like me no more? I feel so set up for failure. :(

    Sorry, no.  But it is fun to hear the old fogey version of the song.  It does sound very good if you are into that type pf music though, which I think is a tribute to the song writers.
