Walking On Snow is that song that has touches of Imogen Heap. I don’t know if it’s a hit, but it’s the best of those two.

Things leak these days. Nothing she can do about it – it’s coming out soon anyway, so no biggie.

Out of these 2 I definitely prefer Walking On Snow. Emergency (911) is just too broken up IMO.

I find it funny as well that Jordin is having a fit about promo copies posting on the internet. Well, duh! You give promo copies, of course they are going to leak to the internet.

I’m pretty sure she used the Photoshop Diet for that picture. I just did a Getty Images search on her and her body doesn’t look like that in recent photos.

I think Jordin looks great (and is so pretty), but the over-photoshopping on promotional shots/CD covers kind of annoys me. Surely people will buy something from somebody who isn’t a stick. Plus, they’ll be surprised when they see her in concert and think she’s gained a lot of weight (when, I think she has lost weight since she was on Idol). Plus, the entire body image thing.

Well, I’ll start with something nice – Jordin looks great.

“Walking on Snow” – sounds kind of generic to me. I guess it could be a hit but not in my world.

Emergency 911 – I couldn’t listen to this song past the first 20 secs. And what’s with the 911. Sorry, but I would have the sense not to use 911 in a pop song. JMHO.

Yeah, I have to agree with the photshop diet, too. I just looked her up on wireimage and there are a few pics of her from this past weekend with her boyfriend celebrating his birthday on wireimage.

I think she looks gorgeous. No need to photshop.

She seems like she may have a little more sass this time around. Walking On Snow is at the very least more sonically interesting than the first album save No Air, at least to me. Now I’m curious about the whole album.

Kelly and Jordin are two of the prettiest female singers out there and they’re probably the only two who have a different body type. I kind of like that about them. But there’s something to be said about the fact that they keep saying they feel good about their body and stuff like that and then their pictures are photoshoped so they can look better and skinny.
I understand is out of their hands, but it shouldn’t be like that.

As a Jordin fan i refuse to listen to the leaks . i am happy at least it was only 2 songs so far that leaked and not the whole album . i think Jordin has a right to be upset and think if promo copies of albums are to be givin out it should be much closer to the album release .

Oh and promotional copies of CDs end up on Ebay as well – the peeps that get all this free stuff at radio stations etc can clean up nicely – I know that amongst the fans of some bands, promotional copies are revered – not sure why, I’d only be interested if there was different tracks on it than the final released version, including remixes or a different photo on the cover – in the old days of vinyl, they used to do fancy stuff like make the vinyl different colours or put a photo on the centre etc or the promo copy would come with some kind of gimmicky thing to catch the DJs attention.

Hey Oprah is photoshopped every month on the cover of her own magazine.

The reality is however even Cindy Crawford is photoshopped. She admitted that there was one cover she did, I can’t remember the magazine at the time, and there were 50 retouches, and this was predigital era – she was trying to say even she doesn’t look that good.

However I must say Jordin is looking radiant and more self confident than ever – she seems really stoked about this album and I suspect this is going to do better than the first album. And I remember people were dissing Jordin because her first album didn’t do as well as other Idols. Tsk tsk.

Does she have any duets on this album? Like with NeYo, Akon, TI? We’ll assume not Chris Brown.

That second song from Jordin’s album feels like it’s 45 minutes long.

When she performed on Idol this season I thought of Beyonce, now looking at that picture i’m thinking of Beyonce.

not sure if it is a duet but Jordin has a song produced anyway from rapper T Pain called Watch You Go .

LOVE Walking On Snow. This should definitely be a single at some point. Very, very catchy.

I kinda like the Emergency song. It had me dancing in my chair.

A little photoshop going on with that picture. I don’t like the songs that I listened to, of course I could only make it through a few before I got a headache.

Ugh, complaining about leaked albums is so 2001. I almost think that tweet was an alert to go check out the music. “My album leaked, go see if you want to buy it.” If someone is gonna purchase your music they will buy it whether it leaks or not. Some may decide they don’t like it and not buy it, but some that weren’t going to will hear it and buy it. A wash in the end.

I like the second song better, but neither are very good. Not as good as Battlefield.

I noticed Kelly Clarkson’s most recent cd had the same photoshop issues. I think the record labels have a lot to do with this. They don’t believe people want to buy music by a larger woman. Maybe they’re right, but personally I like a big, shapely woman.

If those pictures are any indication, the record labels think that people only want to buy music by Beyonce.

That could be true, actually, I suppose.

Rotten for Jordin, though. Like Kelly C, she’s pretty just the way she is. (although I do think Clarkson ought to style up a little more. … not so thrilled with them styling Jordin into a Beyonce wannabe so often, though, I must say.)

Jordan has been on TV recently, and she’s nowhere near that think – photoshopped galore.

ive never thought of her as “overweight” or “fat”…just big …her shoulders, her body size are built like a man……sadly, i couldnt never get into her.

and why be upset that the songs leaked? dont you want press/buzz prior to the drop of an album? if anything, i think it helps generate much needed publicity since both songs lack any real starmaking potential

What exactly is the difference between a leak 2 weeks prior to release and an approved sneak peek 1 week before release? Not seeing enough of a difference there to make an issue out of it.

I like the vibe of the new songs. 911 would be ok without the atrocious lyrics and ringing phone in the song. She should find some hits in there. I like the Walking on Snow one more than Battlefield.

db cooper – you hit the nail on the head. It evens out. Not only that, but if someone wants to illegally download it, they are going to do it, whether it leaks or not.

tigervixxxen – you are right, too. One week doesn’t make a difference at all.
