American Idol runner-up, Jessica Sanchez, was kept pretty busy during her time in the Philippines last month. Besides various product endorsements, including Bench clothing, Jessica recorded a single and shot a music video with fellow Pinoy and Black Eyed Pea, Api.de.Ap.

The song, “Jump In”, an upbeat and infectious dance tune, was released in the Philippines today. The tune is young, dancey and fun. I hope her upcoming album is just as upbeat. Speaking of that album, isn’t it about time for UMG to announce it’s release?

    Wow! I love this video and the song is sooo moving that I really start dancing! I feel like a teenager again. lol. Jessica looks beautiful and the kids looks cute. I love API. rapping. BTW, Jessica walks like a model and she can dance!

     Yeah, it looks/sounds like a commercial.  Very high quality though but not quite mainstream radio enough to release as a single in my opinion.

    It’s a very “commercial” song….I see this song as a song for a commercial for some insurance company….LOL….it’s very Blackeye peas!

    Great song,beautiful vocal,all around awesome..Jessica can sing anything..Black Eyed Pea added the punch!Can’t wait for the U.S. release.Song was to short ,I had to play it over and over..

     American radio or Filipino radio?  Maybe you have a better sense of Filipino radio but I don’t think this would fly on US radio.  It sounds too much like a commercial (which is the whole point of it).

    not too sure about Filipino radio, but this sounds like something Top 40 radio might play. Probably all it would need would be a tweak to the synthesizer. and you have a Black Eyed Peas- esque single. I’ve even heard a lot of people say it sounds like BEP’s mega-hit ‘I’ve got a feeling’

    if Jessica’s album will not be released in time for Christmas, it should probably be released for Valentines day.
