Jessica Sanchez & – Jump In (Music Video)

American Idol runner-up, Jessica Sanchez, was kept pretty busy during her time in the Philippines last month. Besides various product endorsements, including Bench clothing, Jessica recorded a single and shot a music video with fellow Pinoy and Black Eyed Pea,

The song, “Jump In”, an upbeat and infectious dance tune, was released in the Philippines today. The tune is young, dancey and fun. I hope her upcoming album is just as upbeat. Speaking of that album, isn’t it about time for UMG to announce it’s release?

I fvcking love this song! Finally a good song for Jessica! I looove the music video too! Too bad this is not a single of hers, Interscope might’ve promoted this song very well. Btw, the beat of this song is kinda similar to BEP’s I Gotta Feeling ;)

  • mikaylaislove

Oh Jessica you’re such a tease, just release a US single and album already! lol

  • mikaylaislove

It can’t be said enough….Jessica’s recorded vocals are stellar…it ridiculous what she can do with the right songs and branding.

  • sweetmm

Good song with a great message :)

  • jennyl2

I love the song. It’s young, fun with a great message. Jessica sounds great and looks gorgeous. The music vid was cute. I love the texting boy. :)

  • fuzzywuzzy

I enjoyed the video and the song. This song seems to really fit Jessica and I hope that her debut album is released shortly after P2’s.

  • jdanton2

catchy song . good to hear something new from Jessica . hope it gets a US  release . i have heard it mentioned by some this will be used by Smart Phone communications .

I hope they release this song to U.S radio. I don’t see what would stop them. If it becomes a hit stateside, it would be great promo for Jessica. And with Black Eyed Peas name attached to it, promoting it in the U.S would be relatively easier than if she had to go it alone.

  • Chrissie H

She has beautiful vocals and what a pleasant surprise to hear her sing this kind of song / young music and matching the cute video. Best wishes for her career

  • lufausljc

The song doesn’t click on the first listen, yet it is due to the fact that I don’t often like dance songs. I got to admit though Jessica’s vocals are smooth and beautiful, and it is not one of those redundant dance songs. The song actually is upbeat and with a positive message. With one of the guys from The Black Eyed Peas attached to this, an US release is just a matter of time.

  • WestiesRule

No something I would buy but I can see this as a big hit here. She sounds fantastic. The whole concept of this video is definitely tween worthy.

Jessica Sanchez can saaangggggg anything!!!!! And she looks stunning in this music video. Her smile, her legs , everythangggg! RIP to the Replay Button.

  • chessguy99

Songs like this on her album would be great. Nice to hear her with something new. s

  • Jcasa12

    Awesome, more success to her

  • usedtobelucy

*Now* we’re talkin’. More like this for Jessica, please. Off to a good start.

  • Jcasa12

Will she sing this song in Glee, its such an up beat and inspirational song?

  • rodolfochengcanepa

hummm… i´m not sure about this song, but it´s definitely better than fairytale.

  • raya

Cute.  From what I’m reading from some of her fans, the expectation is that this is actually going to be used for another endorsement in the Philippines?  Did she even have time to sleep when she was there?  Good for her.  Now, I agree that some news on her album might be nice.  Though I suspect they might be trying to coordinate the release with her Glee tenure, which might be a holdup in announcement of a date.  But even single news would be nice.

  • waitingforthe1

what a catchy song!  Love it!

  • jennyl2

There was a lot of smartphone used in the vid. The message of lyrics were of living it now. It does make sense if this is a some sort of telco advert. It is obviously targeted at the young and trendy market. Either way, the song and music was catchy, it’s a good move to get her name out there with this demo. It’ll be easier to market her album to this demo if they know her sound.

  • Diana Adams Tyler

I liked it!  Seldom do I like rap but I think maybe its more the lyrics then the fact its rap I don’t like.  This one I like.

  • raya

My thoughts too.  The expectation I think is that this is going to be for Smart Communications in the Philippines.

  • girlygirltoo

It’s ok. Halfway between a pop song and a dance song. Lots of product placement.

I do like Jessica singing something upbeat, and she sounds really good on this. Hopefully her album will have mainly upbeat, young-sounding songs, rather than boring diva ballads.

  • Tommyo2000

If it is for Smart then mark this down as her third, (yes third!!) six figure endorsement deal … not bad for a girl who hasnt released a single yet and  was making youtube videos less than a year ago … plus the song works for her …

  • Jepoy Ramos

It’s definitely a video for Smart Telecom.
She must’ve have been paid big dough for this endorsement

The songs is catchy and the video is high quality and well made.

Hope this will be the trend of the songs she’ll be showcasing on her first album

  • Erlinda

Wow! I love this video and the song is sooo moving that I really start dancing! I feel like a teenager again. lol. Jessica looks beautiful and the kids looks cute. I love API. rapping. BTW, Jessica walks like a model and she can dance!

  • ali_359921

    Love it …

  • No Thanks

Yeah, it looks/sounds like a commercial.  Very high quality though but not quite mainstream radio enough to release as a single in my opinion.

  • Li Wright

It’s a very “commercial” song….I see this song as a song for a commercial for some insurance company….LOL….it’s very Blackeye peas!

  • Li Wright

    It’s very Blackeye Peas!

  • teekee

Good for Jessica! Great vocals as usual.

  • Carl Klopfenstine

Great song, beautiful vocal, all around awesome..Jessica can sing anything..Black Eyed Pea added the punch! Can’t wait for the U.S. release.Song was to short ,I had to play it over and over..

  • J SanchezFan Kaylo™

You think radio wouldn’t play this ? How come? I think Radio would eat this up.

  • No Thanks

American radio or Filipino radio?  Maybe you have a better sense of Filipino radio but I don’t think this would fly on US radio.  It sounds too much like a commercial (which is the whole point of it).

  • J SanchezFan Kaylo™

not too sure about Filipino radio, but this sounds like something Top 40 radio might play. Probably all it would need would be a tweak to the synthesizer. and you have a Black Eyed Peas- esque single. I’ve even heard a lot of people say it sounds like BEP’s mega-hit ‘I’ve got a feeling’

  • Petroff Artas

If gangman style is a hit in US radio, why not this?

  • lovesickheroine

As much as I love this song, it can’t cross US mainstream because there’s no label to promote this song.

  • jpfan2

Won’t this be on her album (when they finally release one). It’s not bad.Oops, I see it’s for a commercial.

  • Jcasa12
  • josh

Does someone knows the name of the guy?

  • dumbestseni

if Jessica’s album will not be released in time for Christmas, it should probably be released for Valentines day.

  • Reflects On Life

that one didn’t work either.  try this one…
