    same boring old questions -__-

  • tigervixxxen

It never gets old to hear people name Denver as a favorite tour stop :)

  • http://twitter.com/raya4 raya

I’m pretty sure their sponsors & 19 only let through “approved” questions so to speak, so you’re not going to get anything fun in these sort of structured ustreams.  Though watching these two attempt to shill for Chips Ahoy & Ritz was pretty funny.

  • wkstrack

The same old generic boring questions. I don’t believe that was all the questions. I bet some of them were filtered lol

They need to do a Ustream session without the sponsor. That would be fun

Also while I like Phil & Jess both from a personality standpoint, to me that’s not a pairing that is going to yield off the wall hilarity in the face of banal questions.  I know the hordes of PhilJess shippers that think Phil & Jess are secretly in love with each other won’t agree, but I feel like they both come off kind of understated and need someone else to draw them out a bit.

  • abbysee

I am so out of the loop! PhilJess shippers? Dayum, lol. Gotta love idol.

  • standtotheright

I have a problem with using the term “shippers” for people who don’t care about pesky issues like “age of consent.” I can think of a lot of other things to call them, though.

  • http://twitter.com/raya4 raya

Believe it or not there are folks that ship Jessica with every guy on the show, short of maybe Joshua.  Keep in mind that only one of these pairings would even be legal and that Phillip has had a girlfriend who is actually on tour with them.

  • girlygirltoo

Why do fans automatically feel they have to “ship” some pair of Idol contestants every year? I don’t get it. It just makes for a lot of awkwardness when these kids are asked about this stuff, especially when they are dating (or engaged to or married to) other people in real life.

What is the point, exactly, other than writing fanfiction?

  • http://twitter.com/tinawinabina Tinawina

I really did not need to know about people shipping underage female contestants with any available person having man parts. Eeewww. I guess I know in the back of my mind somewhere that likely went on, but I had successfully buried it. Heh.

haha! Yeah! Maybe it’s because of the great chemistry Jessica had with some of the guys during the Idol Videos during the Season(Idol Answers .e.t.c. Especially the videos she did with Colton and With Phillip. She even got shipped with Joshua once after photos of them emerged on a dinner date.

  • http://twitter.com/doesmonaknow DoesMonaKnow

People shipped Cook and Archie…I mean, even shipping Archie now seems wrong, let alone back in 2008. It’s all fiction, I can’t say I follow it all but it’s not something I get worked up about either…just don’t pester the Idols with your fan delusions.

  • http://twitter.com/raya4 raya

I don’t know though.  I like Jessica a whole lot and like her personality, but she can be very reserved in interviews and etc. and I guess I’ve never seen this fabulous chemistry she supposedly has with every male on the show.  Don’t get me wrong in that I’m not doubting she’s friends with everyone and I’m sure she’s less guarded off camera, but yeah.  Like even in Glad You Came at the end of tour.  The boys/girls pair off and all the pairings are dancing, spinning each other around and acting totally stupid, and Phil/Jess kind of just stand in the middle singing barely looking at each other.  Only time I’ve ever really seen Jessica totally relaxed, outside of performances, is in her own youtube and ustream videos.

  • lovesickheroine

I’m a fan of Jessica’s too and I agree she comes of very reserved during the interviews. 19 should prolly give her some PR lessons because she needs to show off some charisma during interviews, especially when she goes off promoting her album.

““I still don’t think I can sing that great” says Phillip. His sister
made him sing at church! That was the first time he performed for a
crowd. He’s working on his pitchiness.

Good to see that despite the non-critiques from the judges that P2 is objective enough to realize that he has a problem.

  • elliegrll

His statement will endear him to a lot of people.  Artists who are whiny, or always put themselves down won’t attract new fans, but this comes off as someone who is still confident, but not cocky, and who is trying to get better at his craft.  That bodes well for Phillip.

  • TheOther

Phillip has never claimed to be the best singer.  He even said there were a couple of times he should have been in the bottom.  The show should not be the pinnacle of someone’s career, especially someone who is only 21.

Yes, it makes him even more relatable – can’t ding someone who is trying to grow and improve.

  • rodolfochengcanepa

i dont know what happened to her, she was really outspoken before the idol tour, but the guy who supposedly was the most shy has better presence on interviews than his fellows. I think he could do great commercials if he has the will.
