Jennifer Hudson performed “Holly Holy” at the 2009 MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute to Neil Diamond.   Idol judge Kara DioGuardi was there too.

Tonight, at Clive Davis’s annual pre-Grammy bash, she’ll perform her single “Spotlight”and, according to reports, a “surprise duet.”

Whitney Houston and the Kings of Leon are also scheduled to perform.

Then, tomorrow night (Sunday), at the Grammys, she set to sing “You Pulled Me Through” from her debut album, Jennifer Hudson.

Could the surprise duet be with Whitney?   Or maybe with Leona Lewis, who is expected to attend?

More photos after the JUMP…

    She looks really, really good.

Wow, I wonder if there will be a duet with Whitney. A whole lotta diva. Very cool. I think I’d prefer that over Leona. If she sings with Jennifer, it’ll be like she’s not not even singing at all.

Kings of Leon are also scheduled to perform.

    w0000000t!

Oh and Jennifer looks good in the pics. Like her outfit. And wow if she gets to duet with Whitney. I love Whitney, she’s a belter which I usually don’t love but she’s also got amazing control, or at least she used to. Her performance of One Moment In Time at the Grammy’s is definitely one of my favorite performances ever.

Access Hollywood last night, intimated that the suprise duet will be with a male partner. But, it was all very vague. They also showed Clive giving her “advice” to move around the stage.

suprise duet will be Fantasia porbably

No duet with Whitney. Jen-Hud will sing with a “male” singer surprise, per Clive Davis.

Is there vid of Jen-Hud? She looks stunning.

haha! MJ, do you have David’s on the brain? I know you’ve probably typed David about a million times in the last year. It should be DaviS in your headline. haha! I love typos.

I haven’t heard anything about it being online. Since it’s an official grammy event this year, for the first time, they might be doing things differently.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s him. He is one of those few male artists that Clive seems to love and mention a lot and his duet with Alicia (from her charity ball) was really good despite them being of different genres.
