Jeanine Vailes – AI Hollywood Video – AI Top 36 Video – Semis Week 2 – San Francisco – 28 – Sherman Oaks, CA

You might be wondering: Who?

Man, poor Jeanine has been completely unseen throughout both the audition and Hollywood phases.   To call her cannon fodder would be an understatement.   According to her AI Hollywood interview, she calls herself   a singer/songwriter and says that her sister encouraged her to audition. She’s been singing since she was 4 years old.

    She needs to blow EVERYONE away in her group to have a prayer. It is not impossible as LaToya London proved though.

    Interesting. Maybe she’ll wow us. I hope so. I really want to see a fodder person advance. She has the look.

    It won’t be impossible for her to advance but to do so she will need to give the performance of her life. Without a perfect performance that has people wondering “who the heck was that girl?!” she doesn’t have a prayer.

    Exactly, Latoya London came out of nowhere and in fact was the best one out of her whole group. It’s possible but she really has to blow everyone away, but that really sucks how they didn’t even show a little snippet of her singing. We were shown at least 5 seconds of everyone singing except her, just shows you ungenuine this show is.

    Definitely the fodder to top all cannon fodder this season. Poor girl.

    And yes, she’ll have do something really stand-out to overcome her fodder positioning. (The aforementioned Latoya did it, as did Jason Castro.)

    She has an incredible resemblance to Mandisa, IMO. At least in this pic.

    And yeah, she has to leave everyone’s jaw on the floor if she wants to advance to the top 12. It’s a real shame that there’s no footage of her singing a single note.

    I think her age might be against her as well. Don’t think Idol goes too much for 28 yo females.

    Being pretty much sight unseen and unheard I don’t think she stands a chance at all. She is the ultimate cannon fodder.

    I mean she would have to blow us away, but it doesn’t seem likely. Unfortunately nothing about her looks wise stands out either.

    I was about to say the same thing. She looks like a skinny Mandisa. This girl most likely doesn’t stand a chance. Unless she lucks out and is in a very weak group of women. Even then, she’ll have to out sing ALL of thing by a MILE.

    She only had 1% to advanced to final . She had to sing amazingly great and hope all the girls singers in her group do very very poor. If that also didnot happen, she had to hope that the judges will give her 1 wild card.

    I can’t understand why Idol wouldn’t show a few seconds if this girl (and the other guy) singing. A bit of the audition, or Hollywood week. Leaving only 2 people without 0 air time makes no sense.
    Good luck to her, it is not impossible to make the top 12, just a bit more difficult for her than others. Like Ricky, I hope she at least gets the pimp spot.

    Jeanine is more attractive than that photo shows. It seems Jasmine is her main competition. I am sitting here thinking of what song would pull her to the top. I wonder if she has a beautiful voice?

    It is never fair to the viewers or the contestants to go into the voting process sight (and song) unseen)! Poor Rickey, too.

    Okay – I clicked on this and I was like, who the hell is that? Well, she’ll certainly have to do it all on her own if she’s going to get anywhere. They haven’t done this girl any favors.

    She seems sexy, sweet, talented and current. It’s a shame that she’s been invisible. I get an En Vogue or SWV vibe from her. Just not sure she’s got enough to be the soloist. Some singers are Beyonce and some are Kelly Rowland.
