It’s really cute but kind of like a commercial…song and all. I forgot how much I liked him, he’s so freakin adorable!! I really hope this song does well for him, he sounds great!!

This song really became a guilty pleasure for me. It’s the first song my daughter will play on my ipod when she gets in the car. It seriously makes me smile every time I hear it. I think it might just cure road rage.

that was great. jason is adorable and the couple looks great together. I might have written the story a little differently though. They’re in love from the first note of the song. Maybe have them in public places far apart, taking pictures through the crowd, unable to get together because other people are talking to them, etc. Just saying some romantic tension would have made a cute video more intriguing. And i do think it could have worked with the cute music.

Despite my criticism I still think it’s a good video for a very good song.

Sunn, at least Jason already got your 1.29. I think it’s supposed to look like a home movie. I think it suits the vibe of the song, but of course it’s not revolutionary or anything. There’s no point in sinking huge amounts of $$$ in videos these days.

I was never a fan, but this song suits him perfectly! It’s commercial and “hummable”. However, there’s no magic bwtn him and the female in the video (they most likely met the same day as the shoot and neither are very good actors). Hope the rest of the songs are as radio friendly or better.

I think the vid is really cute and it suits it’s purpose for sure, though I do agree Jason seems a little uncomfortable with his faux girlfriend. That is something he’ll have to get used to for future vid (which he hopefully will have).

Well, I hope they last. If she loved “Tiffany” so much, she could have called it off a long time ago, but she didn’t. He had talked about Mandy on AI Extra, and at that time they had gone together for 2 years, if I remember correctly. He had said in a TV interview, that Mandy had been with him through this whole journey of him pursuing a music career. They are working it out, he said. And TMZ had a video about the 2 of them at the Grove not long ago. They have a lot in common, including their faith and giving back, like doing missions work and such. I hope he does well enough that he can give her all the “Tiffany” she wants.

Totally threw him over for Adam this season (sorry, Jase, you took way too long to come out with any new music.) But I thought this was adorable. Also, I love jazz and country. Heh. I was shocked when Verve signed McPhee, but even more shocked that they don’t have her doing standards or something. I love their remixes of old jazz songs to dance beats. Love them.

What a fun video. I’m still smiling from it. I hadn’t heard his single (or anything else by him) before but the light tune combined with the feel good video made me a fan tonight. While I wouldn’t like a whole album of this type of tune, it’s definitely got me keeping an eye out to see what else he does.

I find this funny. Both Adam and Jason are very musical, with unique style and charisma. Both are sweet people and slightly subversive. I suspect Jason would be more interesting if he weren’t suppressing some of his wilder instincts in order to woo his very conservative girlfriend. While no one could ever beat Adam on sheer vocal talent or dynamic performance ability, Jason’s voice has a charm all its own. And most people like more than one genre of music. Let’s Fall in Love Again is cute and catchy, but I like Jason’s deeper (probably less commercial) stuff better. I can listen to Love Uncompromised and Someday all day long.

Aw, love it – perfect video for the song (and perfect breezy Jason song).

Add me as another fan of both Jason and Adam.
They are both secure in who they are and not afraid to be themselves.
Both are unique and charming in their own ways. I can recognize both of their voices instantly.
Jason is light and carefree but has a lot more depth and heart and soul in himself and his music than might be initially recognized. At his age and level of experience, he’s only begun to tap into his potential.
Adam is a more seasoned veteran performer who can totally blow your socks off from the first note and take you on a wild ride. He’s an absolute power house.
Sometimes I like a quiet walk on the beach and sometimes I like the thrill of a rollercoaster. So I don’t know why liking both Jason and Adam is so strange.

Another Jason/ Adam fan here. Hallelujah and Over The Rainbow are two of the best performances EVER on AI. Heard Hallelujah is going to be on the new album and I can’t wait to hear him sing it again. The kid was definitely underrated by critics ( except for Michael Slezak).

Same here – I do the ipod shuffle and go from Thompson Twins, to Garbage, to Goldfrapp, to Def Leppard…. music incorporates so much I don’t want to put myself in a box.

I thought similar and guess what, The Monkeys had some pretty decent stuff in their era. Surprising for a thrown together sit-com band.

It’s fun, youthful, hopeful, upbeat, and catchy. Jason has a fine voice and fine delivery. The video is very well done … and it could be used for an ad campaign. I’m thinking Kodak cameras and printers.

Well, I don’t know “how” exactly, but you clearly can be!

Honestly, I can like any musician who does well something that is fun or beautiful or profound or interesting or powerful. … I think Jason has his moments of being *very* good at fun stuff like this and, sometimes, at kind of stripped-down, delicate quirky beauty. And for me (for you), Adam is usually doing an excellent job at any of the above. So I can easily be a fan of both of them! (and also a fan of Elliott, Fantasia, Kelly C, Cook, Bo, Melinda and quite a few more, if not a fan of every single performance or song by any one of them)

I’m not a fan, but I like this video and the song kinda grows on you.

He’s definitely going after the teen market, which he should.

I’ll preface this by saying that I wouldn’t call myself an Adam fan (though I don’t dislike him either), but while musically Adam and Jason are very different, I think personality wise they have some similarities and I can see the appeal. Jason and Adam both have very unique and charming personalities with an extremely strong sense of self. They both are very secure in who they are and what they want to put out there. They both brought something new to Idol. Of course they are very different as well, but both are who they are and neither make any apologies about that.

I can’t abide Jason but the song itself is catchy, props for that. The video is ok and fits the song. I’m puzzled at the timing, it seems spring or summer would’ve been a much better time for the song/video to catch on than fall/winter.

I’m a Jason/Adam fan, too. But, since Jason was my first Idol, he will always have a special place in my heart.

I love the video & song. They capture his light perfectly. I think this was a good first song choice for him. He has much deeper, meaningful songs on the album. But, this shows off his personality to people who don’t know him from AI.

Adorbs! Dude, Jason is busting his butt doing shows around the country right now and yes, I get that he’s promoting his single, but I really don’t think pushing back the album drop was so smart. People who see him now and like him may not remember him by 2010 when his album comes out. What is it with Atlantic? Ryan Star’s album has been pushed back a gillion times as well, even though his songs have been used on TV. Why?

Then again, being that his family is Colombian, he may have visited the areas of the country in the Andes, which can get cold.

That makes very good sense, Brie. It also seems to me that neither of them takes himself too seriously, and that they both have a strong sense of the ridiculous, it just comes out in different ways.

(I should also say that while I admire Adam’s talent and skill enormously, his music style doesn’t speak to me. But then, if we all had the same taste in artists, we wouldn’t need but one.)
