Jason…we do totally <3 you…we want your music. We want you to be you and nobody else. Trust yourself and you will go way far :)

  • Lux

Aww he ´s crying :( …. Im sad the tour is over, but I ´m excited to see what might happen with Jasons career, good luck for him!!

  • Dlynne

I am really, really, really pulling for this kid. He just seems so genuine. I hope he gets a record out pretty soon because I am so looking forward to it.

  • CathyMK

I’m so glad to hear that Jason already has a manager and that he has lots of meetings set up. He mentioned going to Nashville- could Kristy’s label be courting him as well? Everyone here at my house will be waiting anxiously for new music from him. BTW, if you haven’t heard any of Jason’s original music, you can find MP3′s of a few songs at his fan sites (Castrocopia, Daydreamingboy).

And he’s going to keep vlogging- great news! I’ll miss date night as much as I’ll miss Mavid!

  • shebee

I love Jason and his blogs.
    he’s always so tired tho!
He should have his thyroid checked!

  • brie200

Gah, I love him. He seems so excited, so I am for him. I hope we get news soon.

  • Laurie

very sweet. he won me over when I met him in chicago and heard him sing live. I will buy his music for sure. best of luck to him and all the idols.

  • Laurie

yes, he is too young to be that physically tired all the time. he needs a check up to be on the safe side!

Awww! Jasonnn, Jasonnn, Jasonnn. We’ll see you around. Good luck. :)

  • capami

Sweet, sincere, adorable Jason, the end of the tour must be so bittersweet. But the best part is it’s the start of his own career. I’m going to miss seeing him on tour, especially with the fans, but he needs some rest. I really hope all the best for him. The Nashville remark is very promising.

  • gabam

I’m excited for Jason and for his future. The meetings and song writing/recording sessions starting this week are very good news. I look forward to hearing his new music and buying his CD and going to his tour shows and…

I think that it’s a great idea that he will just post vlogs anytime he feels like it instead of waiting for Tuesday’s Date Night. When he said that he may do five in a week or one every two weeks, it made sense. Of course, I’d rather have the five. LOL.

Saturday night must have been quite a bittersweet night for all of the Idols. I’m glad that their families and friends are there with them.

    Jason is love. *sigh*

  • davidaforlife

yes, he is too young to be that physically tired all the time. he needs a check up to be on the safe side!

It would be a good idea. My younger brother was tired all the time like that and when he went to the doctor they found out it was because he wasn’t getting enough oxygen when he breathed at night.

  • gabam

A fan posted on another board that she gave Jason that balloon earlier in the day at the bus stalking. That was sweet of him to include it for Date Night.

  • dare2dream

I think they all must be exhausted by now. And Jason has spent so many nights reading through the night instead of sleeping and then trying to sleep during the day. I think his internal time clock is just off right now. Once he gets back to working and playing during the day and sleeping at night, I bet he starts to feel a lot better! I gave him a gift bag in Wilkes Barre with a bunch of the 1000 mg Vitamin C packs, so hopefully that will help too. ;-)

  • dancingqueen

Jasonnn certainly sounds ready to leave the tour behind (though, I’m sure he enjoyed it) and get on with the next stage of his career. I’m thrilled to hear he has so many meetings lined up for this week. Best of luck to him and all the others!

  • sabby_rina

    Aww I love this dude!

I will so buy his music and his album when it comes out like I will the rest of the idols. :)

  • erennick

Definitely good luck to him! I still can’t believe that 19 passed on Brooke! Of course, I really like so many of these Top 10 and want them to do well, but Brooke is different than anyone they have already and is similar to other popular artists out there.

Hopefully, everyone will make it to where they want to be.

  • jpfan

He constantly complains about fatigue and should really see a doctor. It could be a thyroid problem or something. It’s weird to be a young guy doing something you love and still be so tired.

  • gingerly

I’m hoping and guessing he has no medical problem. I think he could certainly get a checkup just to be on the safe side but I think the schedule he’s been on for the past year has taken it’s toll on him. I think they are all just as tired…he just talks about it more. Sleep is something that is very important to him, so yeah, he talks about it…

  • brie200

Not that it would hurt to get checked out, but I’m guessing he is fine. All the Idols seem to be exhausted and Jason seems like the type who just needs a lot of sleep in general. The tour has got to be fun for them, but it’s also the same basic schedule over and over and over. Not to mention most of them have mentioned not being able to sleep on the bus (including Jason) which means they hardly ever get a decent night of sleep. By the time they get to the hotels it is like four or five in the morning and then they try to catch a few hours before they have to start their day all over again.

  • smartcookie

I’m also kind of wondering if Jason is a bit of an introvert, so he takes his energy from being alone and resting. With their schedule, all the PR demands, plus living in each other’s pockets on a bus most of the time, I could see how that would be killer for an introvert.

  • primeminister

I am so excited for whatever’s ahead for him. I’ll be buying his music, that’s for sure!

  • http://myspace.com/saltwatercures pj

    Smartcookie, that’s a good point.

I doubt Jason has a serious physical problem just because he likes to sleep! Heck, he’s been doing that since the show… cat naps, etc. Nothing new.

That Nashville stuff is interesting. I’m sure he’s not being courted by KLC’s label or he’d already be signed. Lyric Street would be the logical choice (they love the guy Idol rejects), but I doubt that, too, considering Phil’s lack of sales. More likely, he’s going there to record or write with someone.

  • Zeppelin

    Awwwwww Jasonnnnnnn :’)

It’s wierd. I’ve never cared for a musician this much. He’s just such a genuine guy. I’ve felt like I’ve been there on his musical journey with him & I’m so looking forward to continuing it with him (cheeeese). Very excited to see him do his own thing. I really, really want him to do well.

This past year and the tour schedule’s been sudden and intense for them, especially for the ones experiencing it all for the first time. They’ve all been sleep-deprived but Jason particularly (like my brother) NEEDS his naps in order to function. My bro’s an introvert so Smartcookie’s point makes a lot of sense to me. Apparently, like Brooke, Jason’s also a PWATM & seeing as his sleeping pattern’s been disturbed & there has been PLENTY for him to dwell on, he probably finds it hardest to rest his mind at night on the (bumpy) bus. I assume it’s why he reads into the morning.

My younger brother was tired all the time like that and when he went to the doctor they found out it was because he wasnà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢t getting enough oxygen when he breathed at night.

Jason has an extremely large Adam’s Apple. I wonder whether it blocks the oxygen flow….? Don’t snort at my theory, it’s possible, lol.

    &/or he may have anaemia.

  • vagabond

Gosh I have loved the way Jason has kept in touch with his fans all through this tour. He’s adorable and very talented – I have no doubt at all he will have a nice career in music ahead of him. Will look forward to the CD. I listen to a local station that plays things like Feist, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Dave Matthews, etc…….can see Jason fitting in with that kind of music very well, indeed.

From the sound of it, there are some exciting times ahead for our guy! Go Jason!!! I’m so happy for him!!! (and for us, his fans, too – LOL)

  • dante

I am so glad Jason will continue to vblog…… and hope that he gets signed by someone soon. Hopefully his large fanbase and iTunes sales will count for something. I can’t wait to see what kind of music he comes up with as he is growing into this new vocal career ahead of him. Love love love him and his voice!!!!!!!

“Crazy” and “Daydream” from Tulsa. (Found on YouTube) Jason did a great job, as always, IMO.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHi_GR151yE

Jason’s MySpace plays hit 2,500,000 of 3:06 AM 9-15-08. Kinda cool.

Zeppelin — Thanks so much for those videos of Jason. Loved his bows during Daydreamin’.

Right now, I’m thinking of Jason and all the meetings he said he has lined up for this week in LA. Hope they’re going well for him. Hope the best people are smart enough to recognize how talented he is and will make him offers that will be right for him.

Jason is such a love. Where were guys like him 100 years ago when I was in my 20s!? Here’s to many more Date Nights as time goes by!
