I almost cried when I saw this picture. In fact, I may have shed a tear…

I love Jason and he’s one of my favorite contestants ever (with Melinda, Cook and Clay/idol era), but there’s not another musician that I love more on this planet, than Keb’ Mo’. My husband knows that he would totally lose me if K’M’ ever asked me to marry him… :)

Seeing Jason and Kevin together gave me some serious goose bumps. He is in GREAT company.

Ack! Keb’ Mo’! God! Luv him….you too Jason. haha!

Keb’Mo is a friend of Taylor Hicks as Taylor opened for him when playing gigs in the South years ago and he’s advised Taylor on his career and he played guitar or bass, not sure which, in Taylor’s tour stop in Chicago in 2007. There’s a video of it someplace on U-Tube. He seems like a person who is interested in helping young artist. I know Taylor and his fans have a lot of respect for him. I bet Jason was thrilled to be in the company of some of musics legends.

What a wonderful opportunity for Jason! I like the fact that Keb’Mo is a friend of Taylor’s. Little (big) things like this matter as a new artist breaks into the industry.

I have visited every music museum in America – oh goodie, I have another one to visit! I cannot wait. I have attended lectures and musical (educational) workshops with Robert Santelli. He truly wants young people to understand where music has been, so they will understand where it is are going. I expect the Grammy Museum to be a terrific interactive experience!

Thanks for the Jason info and pictures, MJ. I’m so happy that others were as excited as I was to see the picture of Jason standing next to Keb Mo. The caption just said “Singer/songwriters…”. Loved that. No AI mention for Jason.

There is a picture of Jason at the museum pointing to Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s ukelele. That must have been very cool for him to be that close to it. Link to picture:

I’m also happy for Jason. I’m sure he had a blast! And Keb’ Mo is totally awesome. I love his song “Life is Beautiful” from his cd “Suitcase”.

MTOWH is my very favorite KM song! Very personal. The same with “Just Like You”, which is kinda like “our song” between me and my 2 BFF when we reunited 15 years w/o seeing eachother and became BFF again, like no time had passed… :)

As many know, I am a Founding Member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Musems offer some type of NEWSLETTER for their members. We are all excited for Jason; however, that photo is worth thousadns of dollars if it appears in the Grammy newsletter!!

    MJ, thank you so much!

Sweet pic. Sounds like Jason has gotten to rub elbows with a lot of his faves. Pretty cool. I bet he’s loving it. I’m still chuckling over his reaction to Ray L. :-)

Keb Mo and Taylor did “Sweet Home Chicago” IIRC. It was fun.

Pop, I think I like him better as Riggins. I’m sooo looking forward to the new season of FNL.
