Quintessential Jason…lovely. Me thinks Jason should move to Hawaii.

I hate that pic. It looks so photoshopped, but I like the song. From what was said last night, this is mostly just supposed to be a holiday gift to the fans. Not a bad idea.

Only confusion seems to be that Amazon says it will be released tomorrow and Jason said Tuesday. I guess we’ll see.

Very nice. I’ll certainly download this, and would pay $.99 for it as well. I really loved Jason on the show and I’ve been impressed with what I’ve heard from him post-Idol. I think his trajectory is going to be an interesting one to follow.

I feel like I post way too much on Jason posts, but another little tidbit as leaked by Jason’s father. Seems like the EP is now a no go and now the schedule is supposedly a single in Jan. followed by releasing a CD in March.

mj, thanks for following up on Jason, I also loved him on idol and intended to follow him after but havent’ had/taken the time. I’m looking forward to the other things he puts out as well.

That photo is pretty bad. Reminds me of those colorforms sets…like there was a colorform cutout of Jason and you could put different hat cutouts on him.

I just downloaded it off of Amazon.com. It’s beautiful!! I felt like I was in Hawaii where ironically there is never a white Christmas, so the ukulele take is very apropos and worked very well. Loved the little laugh at the end. It’s so Jason. I would have happily paid the dollar for it. Looking forward to his album.

I love this interpretation of the song–a little wistful, a little hopeful, with some great playing around with melody and harmonies. Terrific!
