With JoPlanta gone, she is the biggest plant left, but at least all her stuff is outside of 19E.

She’s so underrated!! Best girl in the group and one of the most unique this season.
The part of her Hollywood performance they showed yesterday was awesome.
I’m expecting her to bring it next week and maybe win some votes from rocker fans, cause she’s the only rocker anyway.

Her stuff is acting, so I don’t really see why she’s more of a plant than others who have acted too.

See, I don’t really like her. She grates on me for some reason. Maybe it’s the odd clothes? the fanny pack in Hollywood? her personality? I dunno, she doesn’t work for me.

IDK if anyone else reads the AI recaps over on Television Without Pity but that guy and I share the same opinion on this girl: She is everything I hate about hipster musician culture. She’s got a decent voice but her black hole of a personality trumps it every time. I’m glad there are some other girls I like to balance her out, haha.

Nope, she doesn’t appeal to me at all.

I think she’s a little loopy and irritating, so I usually miss the voice every time.

For what it’s worth, I hope she and Tatiana are roommates so they can get on each others’ nerves just like they get on mine.

I like Jackie. I actually like her voice. Her personality hasn’t bothered me up to this point. I feel like I’ve barely seen her. It’s odd because usually I’m easily annoyed – so I must have missed something. LOL.

I guess I’m confused about what a “plant” is. I thought everyone was using that term to refer to people who’ve already had major label contracts and failed. Some of these other people being called plants just appear to me to be hard-working people who are making attempts to achieve their goals.

I guess to me it just does’t matter that every contestant isn’t a neophyte plucked from their job at the drugstore. Most of the things that these “plant” contestants have done are so small and almost totally unknown to the public at large. I just don’t see how it could possibly effect their eventual placement.

I’d say that the excessive screen time given to a handful of guys is far more influential to the voting than a couple of these girls having 30 second walk on parts in shows nobody watched.

I should admit though, that the “plant” thing really doesn’t bother me at all. Carly didn’t bother me last year, and Kristy Lee only bothered me because she sucked. I didn’t even have a problem with JoPlanta – well other than the fact that she sucked too LOL.

i haven’t heard her do anything good yet. The micro clip they showed yesterday of her playing the guitar didn’t sound bad…but the rest of the stuff was not very good.

I didn’t like the Hollywood thing with the snarling teeth, scary!! But I did like the clip with guitar on the last show, sounded good. And SpenserJ, well put!!!

I like her for the most part, except that hollywood round with the weird snarling face/teeth. I like her voice and I just don’t find anyone annoying with Tatiana and Nate holding their place. I have thought all along that she looked somehow familiar to me. Maybe it’s from Angel or Veronica Mars…

I think I like her. I find her amusing and her voice interesting. She’s nowhere near as annoying at Tatiana.

I like her. I do think she is more personality then voice but I get the singer songwriter vibe much more from her then I did with Brooke White. I also think she looks like a young Debra Winger. Ià ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã¢â€ž ¢m torn next week because I figure only one girl will advance and I like her and Ann Marie.

yeah, I’m getting the rock vibe too. I heard some rock potential in Alexis Grace too. I like Jackie’s voice and personality. And I totally want that necklace. :p

Thought I would not like her, but the last clip of her singing was really good – similar to Brooke White with a guitar but much better.

I’m not sure why so many complain about drama/manipulation and then focus on things like personality when other shows are so much better for that kind of thing. Yes, I think she’s a bit odd, but it’s “cool” odd, not “creepy” odd.

I liked her audition but there was something about her last night that I didn’t like. I prefer Alexis in her group.

I’m looking forward to hearing more from her. I think Jesse Langseth has the rocker vibe too though, and I REALLY like Jesse.

I liked Jackie, before I heard more from Jesse, so I’m interested in hearing how they both do. I like Alexis Grace too.

I don’t care for her. I heard about her, figured I would like her, and then was deeply let down by her.

Her voice grates, her mannerisms bother, and she is just an odd bird to me.

Maybe she’ll change my mind as the competition advances, but I feel doubtful.

I agree with those that don’t care for her personality. IMO it’s kind of irritating. As far as her voice goes I don’t care for it that much either. I don’t think that she is the only one that can really do rock on the show. I think that Jesse Langseth is very capable of singing rock and singing it well.

Thought her voice was barely OK (she sounded better on the final H’wood epi). But yes, she is majorly annoying with her alt-cute quirky Punky-Brewster-grown-up persona.

Some people see a talent charged with personality. I see a medicre annoyance. But she certainly has confidence.
