J.K. Simmons, an actor who has been seen on tons of TV series, like Law and Order, Oz and The Closer, is currently being celebrated for his supporting role in the movie Whiplash. He’s nominated for an Oscar and recently won a SAG award in the Best Supporting Actor category.

You may remember his from last season’s NBC ill fated comedy, Growing Up Fisher, playing a blind attorney.
