Idols In Concert – Stats – 10/02/14

Actually, this week has just about every other reality singing show but Idol in Concert. One Direction continues to top up Simon’s gigantic swimming pool filled with cash. They sold out four concerts in the New Orleans, Charlotte and Tulsa to rake in about $7.6M. The concert in New Orleans played to more than 50K people and earned $4.3M. You’d think that would be the biggest concert of the report, but Sir Paul made $5M in San Diego and Luke Bryan played to 56K people at Foxborough.

From The Voice, Danielle Bradbery got to open one of Luke’s concerts. Must be pretty cool to play in front of 21K people! America’s Got Talent took their show on the road to Las Vegas. They love that show in Vegas. They did two concerts and made $460,034. They earned more per concert than any Idol show reported this year made. Finally, from the X-Factor US division, Alex & Sierra opened for Train at the Pantages in LA.
