The closest I can get to a concert report from an Idol is from original recipe Australian Idol, Guy Sebastian. Correct me if I’m wrong, but Guy is one of only two foreign Idols to have ever appeared on American Idol (he did so in Season 3. The other was Will Young (Pop Idol’s first winner) who appeared to sing the boot song in S9). He seems to be doing alright by himself.
Meanwhile, I saw this interesting tidbit about ticket prices. Apparently, Ticketmaster is going to try out dynamic pricing. If your tickets are selling well, the price will go up. If it isn’t going well, prices will automatically drop (I wonder what the prices for the AI tour would have been like last year if that had have been in effect?). They are trying to capture revenue lost to the secondary market. Somehow, I just think that it will mean more expensive tickets and there still won’t be a lot of deals. Billboard.

Glee’s Warblers are set to do about 70K this week according to Billboard. Glee albums seem to be losing a lot of steam. It will probably be the top debut of the week, but Adele will likely top the chart again.
