No new concert stats to report this week. This is the daily numbers thread. Please post numbers as you find them.

Thanks!

Maybe we can chew over X-Factor Judge Britney being named the Top Earning Women in music ($58M!) by Forbes.. And that’s not even taking into consideration her big X-Factor pay-day (Billboard)

Congrats to Home fo hitting #1 on the HAC chart today. Now it has to hold on until Sunday. It’ll be close.

  • Kirsten

    It’ll be close.

I think he can hold it. The Lumineers are still speeding up the chart, but they are slowing just a little. They are increasing about 70 spins a day which isn’t quite enough to catch Phil.

Although, radio can deke like a pro.

I just came to see if that was posted.:))  Here’s hoping that the numbers are spot on this week (or even higher:)…

    Thanks for posting!

  • LongKissGoodnight

Phillip is predicted to sell the same amount of albums as last week. Nice!
    Consistency, baby… ;)

  • sdmama

Why does it have to hold until Sunday? Is there minimum days to be on the spot to count, or is Sunday a special day? I don’t know what makes it official.

  • jpfan2

    HDD

    Phillip Phillips (19/Interscope) 65-70k
    Scotty McCreery (Mercury Nashville/19/Interscope) 50-55k

Very good numbers for P2 and Scotty. P2 could have another week in the top 10 albums sold and be getting close to 400K sold.

  • tigervixxxen

Sunday is when the charts officially update and publish for the week. If Home is #1 at that time it will become an official #1. If not then it won’t and it won’t get a Billboard #1 out of it either. It’s not that the day itself is significant just that it’s the cutoff for the weekly updates identifies its significance.

  • http://twitter.com/ItsMyT1me Lori

Aw, congrats to P2 for hitting #1 on HAC, even if it doesn’t hold until Sunday, but I hope it does. And holding steady on album sales is awesome! Is this the big Christmas sales week or is it next week?
