The Pop That Lock remix is just terrific – definitely my favorite.  But I like it on the regular album as well.

I said I wished RCA’d had enough faith in any of Adam’s co-writes to have chosen one of them as the lead or follow.

Why should RCA chose co-write by Adam, when they had such  gems written by Bruno or Claude?

Watching “Cuckoo” climbing on iTunes after just ONE 1 minute performance on PLL I’m still shaking my head…

Considering RCA track record in general, I have come to the conclusion that it is run by grey suits who cannot pick singles, and push their artists towards a sound that is as generic as possible as an attempt to appeal to the masses, but they often go too far and their artists fail.  Not that other labels have an impeccable track record, but, imo, RCA have made bland their speciality.

P2 appealed to many …handsome + shy(?) or naive personality + choice of songs  + a nice change from all the contestants + a little bit of rebel (clothes?) … he got the votes, right? He is aware of his strong and weak points.
But Home was timely.  That the gymnasts won and a host of appearances and interviews… all contribute.  So I am very curious about his album.  Hazel did  not appeal that much to me unless he improved it.

I like P2 alot. I just think age is important to get CHR hits. Adam may have aged out of that market. And I just heard Home on the Elvis Duran show this morning so I think it still has a future on CHR.
