No Idols in concert this week, but we have the winner of the Voice Season 1. He has been touring with his coach’s band, Maroon 5 in South America to sold out crowds. Adam has been putting in the effort of being the “helpful” judge by letting his first season contestant open for him and signing his second year contestant to his own label.

OFF: “Home” entered on billboard in new charts:

    Ringtones: #24
    Billboard Canada: #93

and it has a gain in all the other previous charts, except 4 digital songs, but very impressive how well this song keeps going.

    PS: P2´s EP is #123 on BB200.

Yay for Adam Levine!  With the amount that the judges on all these shows are getting paid, I think it’s the least they can do to “let” some of the contestants open for them to help them get their careers off the ground.  It’s just a nice thing to do.  But it seems that most of the judges just want to sit there and collect their pay check and promote their own careers, and don’t seem to care about the people they are supposedly trying to help on these shows.

Maroon5 plays much smaller venues in the US than these ones in Brazil. At least they had been playing smaller venues — maybe since Adam has been on The Voice they’ve moved up to bigger venues? That’s quite impressive — and nice for Javier to play in front of big crowds.

It really is commendable and telling the support Adam, Blake and CeLo provide for their team members. There is no way in hell, that a serious student of this show, should  want to be on Team Christina.

Chris Mann got his record deal through Xtina’s connection :)  I guess TVoice mentors are now actively assisting their protegees.  AI has 19 Entertainment to assist their winners; its quite refreshing that TVoice mentors personally help the contestants.

This article has some interesting tidbits.  As a Scotty fan, I was intrigued by the factoid that his album went back on the UK top 40 country album sales (I realize they don’t sell as well over there, but still interesting) and has been on that chart on and off for 39 weeks…

I cant speak of their entire US tour but as far as the show I went to, Maroon 5 played the arena in Mohegan Sun where Javier also opened for them. Nowhere near being small. Obviously not 29,000 people but maybe a good 10,000?  I would imagine their ability to filler larger places shot up once they started becoming huge again on pop radio. I felt so happy for Javier during this tour. It hasnt been easy for him but you can tell by his tweets how grateful and appreciative towards Adam he was.
