    [hastily dropping off numbers]

    Overnight Twitter Power List
Had to do these numbers about five hours earlier than I usually do, and the overnight percentage gains are still at least as high as last week. Pretty tightly clustered with women high, so I doubt anybody had a strong effect from a perceived “moment.”

    Reinhart, Haley 4.08%
    Lauren Alaina 4.02%
    Durbin, James 3.54%
    McCreery, Scott 3.45%
    Langone, Stefano 3.29%
    Abrams, Casey 2.78%
    Lusk, Jacob 2.69%
    McDonald, Paul 2.59%

Raw numbers come out different, as some singers have much larger follower bases than others.

    1T McCreery, Scott 2,821
    1T Lauren Alaina 2,563
    3T Abrams, Casey 2,125
    3T Durbin, James 1,977
    5T McDonald, Paul 1,768
    5T Langone, Stefano 1,667
    5T Reinhart, Haley 1,656
    8 Lusk, Jacob 852

Were I to predict tonight’s elimination based on these numbers [disclaimer: no aspect of follower count predicted last week's boot], the bus home would be coming for Lusk.

    Foo Fighters First Number One

Sounds great, except that will be Number One with over 200,000 copies. Not almost 300,000. Over 200,000.

And RCA blanketed the earth with information about this release. They could not have pushed this rollout more strongly. The reviews have been solid to good. They have a long-term fanbase.

This needs to be a data point for any rock-leaning artists’ sales expectations, IMO.

    #45 – DWTS Jason/Kelly

Pre-performance position on iTunes (12 noon Pacific)

LMAO, that’s supposed to be DYWS. I guess I have #DWTS on the brain.
