Around 40 is a nice place to stabilize after a week. I’m hoping when GGG gets played tonight during the boot it gets another little boost. Or just enough of one to keep it fairly high on iTunes.

They love P2 in Namibia….who knew?

That same weekend as the Pittsburgh show, Scotty had two other Sold Out shows…my thought is that it is pretty hard to know when you do or don’t sell out a place with no seats (only in the balcony in Pittsburgh)…By the way, these were posted as sold out by the venues…

22 Dover, DE (Dovers Down Casino, Rollins Center — 1,500 seats) SOLD OUT .
23 Charleston, WV (Clay Center — 1,883) SOLD OUT

LOL… Namibia home of agriculture, mining and the largest P2 fan club…

though with only 2 million people… and half of them below the int’l poverty line… then I don’t think having the #1 selling single there is quite enough to retire on…

  • Caro3278sweet

I checked my local radio station’s request list yesterday – yeah, I’m actually one of those geeks who does request songs – not just my snowflakes either. Anyhoo, I was a bit amazed that they had already added CaseyJ’s The Good Life to their request list. Nice.

    MJ,
2 quick questions about Scotty’s attendance numbers: First, where did you find the info about the Pittsburg concert? As an avid Scotty follower,I have tried looking at Billboard’s Boxscore info as well as what’s on Pollstar;s website but have not found any of Scotty’s concerts listed even though there are some artist listed with venue capacities as low as 750. Secondly, what might the reasons be that his Roadtrip numbers aren’t isted? Yes, the venues are small but I know that to date he has had numerous full houses. As a side note, MJ I really do appreciate all the info that you do provide on your blog and that is why it is one of the first sites I check everyday! BTW, I realy applaud Scotty for stepping out and doing his own tour because he has found a creative way to balance school with what he loves doing the most; singing, while perfecting his craft and giving his fans want they crave which is more Scotty!

GGG is up to #35 on iTunes. Being a goodbye song a little helps the sales. The Ellen Show repeating GGG performance helps too. The album is up to #16.

  • Madilo

GGG is #34 now and TWFTSOTM is #15 and 54
so cool, get that promo Phillip

Considering he has no new single or new album or radioplay it´s impressive he can attract so many people to so many shows. Happy to know two of three shows sold out. Not happy to see that only the one “not sold out” is reported and makes the headline

    WOW from HDD
“20/20 Experience” Will Have Decade’s Fifth-Biggest Bow; Musgraves, Expanded “Les Mis” Also Debut

    March 21, 2013

    It just keeps getting bigger.

As of now, it appears that Justin Timberlake will score the fifth-biggest debut of this decade, behind only two Taylor Swift albums (1.2m, 1.05m) and one each from Lady Gaga and Lil Wayne (1.1m, 964k).

The killer bow of The 20/20 Experience will also give Sony Music four of the Top 10 biggest debuts since 2010. Here’s how it looks headed into the weekend:

    *Justin Timberlake (RCA) 800-850k
    Bruno Mars (Atlantic) 37-42k
    Luke Bryan (Capitol Nashville) 35-40k
    *Kacey Musgraves (Mercury Nashville) 35-40k
    Bon Jovi (Island/IDJ) 32-37k
    P!nk (RCA) 29-33k
    *Les Miserables (Republic) 25-28k
    Rihanna (Def Jam/IDJ) 24-27k
    Mumford & Sons (Glassnote) 24-27k
    Imagine Dragons (Interscope) 24-27k
    David Bowie (Columbia) 21-24k
    Now 45 (Capitol) 21-24k
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (Macklemore) 19-22k
    Fun. (Atlantic) 19-22k
Florida Georgia Line (Big Machine/Republic Nashville) 18-21k

  • Kirsten

The Pittsburg concert was reported to Billboard.
Not all promoters will report concert stats to Billboard or Pollstar. Sometimes, they will report, but delay reporting for several months. Even big promoters may not report everything (we have very few stats from the Season 9 AI tour because LiveNation only reported results from about 10 venues).
